Our caravan is much loved by our family, and offers you a superb holiday base in this beautiful part of Cornwall. It is larger than your average 2 bedroom caravan with a 5 foot bed in the master bedroom, walk-in wardrobe and en suite toilet. There is a smart TV in it to catch up on late night TV. The second bedroom has twin beds that can be put together to create a 4ft 6 inch double bed, wardrobe and drawers.
The kitchen is fully equipped which makes self catering easier. We have a full size fridge freezer and a gas oven, microwave, toaster and kettle. There is all you need in the kitchen including washing up liquid. cloths, cling film etc.
The dining table is beside the double doors which enhances eating meals with the afternoon sun shining on it.
The living area has 2 comfortable sofa's and bench seating in front of the window. The lounge has a wide screen TV with a blue ray DVD recorder. We have many games, DVD's and books you can use during your stay.
The bathroom has a good size shower and modern sink.
Outside we provide a garden table and chairs and washing line.
We provide duvets and pillows. All you need to bring is duvet covers (one needs to be king size), sheets, pillow cases, towels and tea towels, and personal shower gel, soap etc.
The caravan also benefits from double glazing and central heating.
Harlyn Sands is a family owned park, offering a wide range of activities including an indoor pool with two pool areas and a fun water flume, (There is an additional cost for this, paid to the park), play park area, kid's club, club house with entertainment, Snack Shack, Restaurant, launderette and shop.
There are many beaches to discover along this coast including the nearest, Harlyn Bay which is only 5 minutes walk from the caravan. A coastal path links the many beaches, a perfect way to explore this beautiful area.
Padstow is just a short drive away from Harlyn Sands Holiday Park, with its many shops, ice cream kiosks, art galleries and surf shops. There are many boat trips to choose from, including a passenger ferry from Padstow to Rock. It also marks the start of the Camel Trail to Wadebridge and beyond. You are able to hire bikes in Padstow or Wadebridge. In Padstow you could visit the National Lobster Hatchery. Padstow also has many lovely restaurants including the famous Rick Stein's.
Closer to Harlyn is St Merryn with an excellent bakery and small supermarket and a few restaurants and pubs.
There is small Tesco store nearby in Padstow, or a larger store in Wadebridge. However, you can also get online delivery from both Sainsburys, Tesco and Asda straight to the van door for ultimate convenience!
