Just back from the most amazing week spent in this lovely well equipped caravan, Kenneth and Fiona have thought of everything for adults and kids, even don’t to the coffee machine which my mum took pleasure in making herself a coffee every chance she got. The location is just amazing right on the beach front which was perfect with having the kids, and the view at night was just breath taking. We are all returning for the 3 time in April and we all can’t wait. Bath tub was a great bonus with having the little one, along with the washing machine and tumble dryer. If you want a luxury caravan holiday this is definitely the one. And any queries Kenny or Fiona respond very quickly couldn’t ask for anything more from them.

Tucked away from the buzz , chaos and excitement of the main site at Craig Tara, is Fiona and Kenneth's wonderful Parklane, Kintyre View, platinum caravan. Situated on the idealic beach front row, this perfect caravan hoasts stunning views of the sea and Isle of Arran from the luxary wrap around decking, compleat with table and chairs. The sun sets from the balcony were truly breath taking and I always made sure were were back in time to sit in awe with a cup of tea or glass of wine. We arrived onsite very late on Monday after a very long eventful eight hour drive from Nottingham. It was extremly windy and pouring with rain but we were checked in at the entrance with ease. We reached the caravan trouble free with the directions and map Fiona and Kenneth provided. Getting out the car the wind nearly blowing us over and the rain battering and drenching us we fought our way to the caravan exhausted and soaked through... But as soon as we walked up the ramp and around the decking to the front of the caravan we gasped as the sun hang just above Arran (albeit covered mostly by cloud) and the waves lapped on the shore. We got the key from the lockbox and got into the caravan with ease. As soon as we walked in we smiled once again. It was perfection. Beautifully furnished, soft carpet , nicely decorated, comfortable beds, tvs in the bedrooms to unwind in the evenings (and keep the kids quite) and a bath to soax in whilst listening to the sounds of the waves and call of the gulls. it was just so calming and relaxing... We were blown away with just how well stocked it was and the generosity of the things Fiona and Kenneth provided , it was above and beyond anything we have experienced when renting from private owners. The milk and tea/coffee being avaliable upon arrival was very much appreciated and was the third maybe forth thing we did after gasping at the view, gawping at the aladins cave of provisions, then exploring the caravan whilst going ooo and ah with grins on our faces. That cup of tea with the patio doors open (rain and wind be damned we wanted that sea air , view and waves crashing!) Huddled in the shelter of the caravan peering out, all of us sighing and smiling , you could feel the stress melt away, it was just bliss...Its a memory that will always stay with me. I have a disability and found the caravan very disabled friendly. The ramp up was great for me with my mobility issues but also great for our double buggy. The bedroom was spacious enough for my infants bedside crib thats adapted for disabled parents (similar to a next to me crib) My older children 3 and 6 have difficulties as well as ASD and ADHD they struggle to sleep on their own at night, however in this magical caravan they slept most nights in one of the two single bedrooms together , this is amazing as they often climb into our bed! This meant we were much more well rested. It was sorcery! The washer/dryer was a godsend with the nature of my disability, having a baby and two children with difficulties. We use to spend a fortune on the onsite laundrettes. Or hours hand washing. Which is not what you want when you are supposed to be relaxing! The dishwasher was a win too as lets face it who wants to do the dishes on holiday? Oh but...waking up to those views to eat breakfast and drink tea was one of my highlights and I am not a morning person, ask my husband! We were able to purchase passes for the facilities and activities at the park which Fiona and Kenneth sorted out quickly, straightening out any issues very fast and reassuringly. We were able to book acitvies and swim slots 4 weeks prior to arrival. The children absolutely loved the site and all it had to offer it was amazing watching them make memories, grow confidence and realise tallents and abilities they didn't realise they had. There were a lot of proud parent moments! No words do how wonderful our stay was justice. It was just what we all needed. Fiona and Kenneth are fantastic owners who truly do go above and beyond. Thats why only a few days into our first week of two, we booked for a return for next year! Thank you both for making our holiday truly spectacular and giving us something to look forward to next year!

Fantastic, well equipped caravan. Very clean and spacious. Location is great, amazing uninterrupted view of the beach. Easy walking distance to amenities. Kids and adults loved it. Hosts were very quick with correspondence and helpful. Would definitely go back and recommend.

We had the privilege to stay in this beautiful caravan Monday to Friday and it was amazing and absolutely beautiful would definitely recommend anyone looking for a lovely holiday I would 100% go here its like going from home to home and much more there is everything you could imagine and more. Beautiful view from the decking 2 sec walk to the beach. Didn't want to come home could have stayed there all year round. Just home from a lovely stay in lodge we had everything we needed to make our stay a pleasant one lodge is situated right on the beach front amazing location Kenneth and Fiona have thought about everything for adults and children a great selection of dvds board games ect all mod cons and spotless clean would definitely recommend this lodge we had a wonderful time and correspondence when booking was all made simple and straight forward thank you so much we will definitely be booking again

This was our first stay and we absolutely loved every minute of our stay. The caravan is so well equipped and the views are just amazing. We had our dog with us and it was just perfect. Fiona was so helpful anytime I needed to contact her. We cannot wait for our next visit and cannot recommend this highly enough.

We’re just back from a 4 night stay in this lovely van. It is lovely, with a big, spacious living area which has patio doors opening onto the best sea views imaginable. It is a lovely relaxing space with all mod cons in place, and all stocked up with everything you could want or need for a stay away, from tea and coffee to salt and Tom sauce, from big fluffy towels to providing washing up liquid and loo rolls. The owners really have thought of everything here. The personal touches make all the difference, and it is much better than booking through Haven etc and getting an empty shell of a van with nothing provided. These guys get 10/10 from us for an easy booking service, to the personal touches, to the location of the van. Couldn’t have asked for more. Thank You.

We had a wonderful stay at the lodge. The position of the lodge on the shore line looking out towards Arran is superb, and we had lovely weather during our stay, which was a real bonus. The lodge is very comfortably furnished, and is by far the best equipped one we have stayed in to date - it even had a popcorn maker! With Netflix , board games and DVD's and the marvellous views, you shouldn't be short of things to do! We would heartily recommend this lodge.

Great caravan in a great spot, right on the beach. Caravan had everything you could need/want, was very clean and well looked after. Communication from kenneth and fiona was quick and easy and if we decide to head back next year we know we will be contacting them again.

We have just come home after a fabulous 2 week stay on park Lane. Kenny and fiona went above and beyond for our stay and are truly lovely people. The caravan itself is fantastically located on the beach front and we adored the beautiful sunsets. The van is very well equipped with lots of extras and we enjoyed a coffee every morning from the coffee machine provided. It was beautifully clean and smelt lovely as we walked in. We are just back from this caravan and we had the best week. The views are stunning. I have booked privately before and through holiday parks but this was the best caravan yet. Beautiful caravan with stunning views. Location on the park is perfect. Sea front van next to easy access to the beach. All the little extras made our holiday that little bit more comfortable. The secure wrap around decking is perfect for young children & for adults to chill out in the evening. Owners were very responsive to queries & extremely kind and helpful. Would certainly recommend.

After enjoying many breaks at Craig Tara this was our first time booking directly with an owner. My husband and I and our 4 year old son enjoyed a wonderful stay in the Park Lane. On arrival the caravan was spacious, bright, fresh and spotlessly clean. It definitely had the wow factor! Fiona had kindly left us some milk and we enjoyed a Cup of tea on the balcony and a delicious hot chocolate for the little chap from the Tassimo machine. What a view is all I can say the location is fabulous! From the crisp white towels and fresh bed linen to the impressive kitchen with all the mod cons and handy breakfast bar the amount of homely touches is in abundance here. It's an absolute gem. We loved the comfy sofas and chairs and the large smart TV and optimist fire made for cosy family nights. The WiFi connection was great given the location and there was everything you could ever possibly need. Our son loved his room complete with large TV and all his favourite TV shows at the touch of a button. Netflix was such a bonus! On our last morning after a beach stroll we enjoyed our breakfast rolls at the large table on the balcony and we all agreed that this caravan was the best we have stayed in! Its just perfect. Fiona was friendly and most attentive to our every question or need and she promptly refunded our security deposit after our departure. Both she and the Park Lane are a credit to Craig Tara and we cannot wait to return and experience it all over again. Thanks again Fiona, we had a ball!

Just home from our weekend stay at the Park lane Luxury Lodge and would highly recommend, the ramp, space in the lodge and onsite toilet were perfect for my dad who is disabled. Amazing views of the beach from the porch and the caravan was spotless. Great value for money, would defenetly stay again!

Myself, husband and our 2 year old son have just returned from our week stay at Park Lane. We had a fantastic time, so much so, our son was calling the caravan his new home and was gutted to be leaving. All the extras in the caravan were great which makes u feel really comfortable and a home from home. The view from the caravan was fantastic and being only footsteps from the beach was great! Facilities were also great on the park, we took a trip into the animal park as well next door which was a lovely family day out as well. Thanks for letting us stay Fiona, we will definitely be back.

Just back from a week’s break in the Park Lane. Extremely well equipped with everything you could need and more . Very clean , with ample cleaning products so I could keep it that way. Plenty towels also provided which I didn’t realise when I booked so this saved us a lot of washing . The views are stunning and there are plenty DVDs and board games if the weather isn’t so great . We didn’t visit the complex but the golf course was open and enjoyable . The caravan is perfect for cosy people- watching as it sits adjacent to the path directly on to the beach - so you can see all the brave dog walkers from the cosy fireside - no noise at all during our stay . Our bond was refunded within hours of check out which was also appreciated. Highly recommended. Thank you !

We have previously stayed in Fiona and Kenny's stunning Beaumont and decided this time to book to stay in their newly refurbished Park Lane. The lodge is amazing and the refurbishment is absolutely beautiful. It is very clean, modern and homely. We found out that they recently got a brand new washer/dryer and a brand new dish washer as well. The lodge is very spacious and had everything we needed and more to make our stay wonderful. Fiona and Kenny have outdone themselves as usual with their added extras from having an air fryer, toastie machine to providing tea, coffee, sugar and pods for the Tassimo machine. The carton of milk they provided us meant that after our journey we could relax with a cuppa. I loved the hot water tap in the kitchen sink and never boiled the kettle once during our stay. There was soap powder and fabric conditioner for us to use and having the washer/dryer is brilliant if it is bad weather and you cannot get your clothes dried outside. The added extra of this lodge having a bath with overhead shower in the main bathroom and a shower in the ensuite left us spoiled for choice. I used the bath every night during our stay which was very relaxing. I really enjoyed sitting on the decking which has the most incredible views day and night. Having the ramp is a great extra for anyone with mobility issues. We had an amazing week away and had lovely weather most days which was an added bonus. There is so much that you can do on and off the park or you could just stay take it easy and enjoy a relaxing break sitting on the decking and walking on the beach. This holiday was exactly what we needed and we did not want to go home as we had such a lovely time. Thank you Fiona and Kenny for everything. We will definitely be back and with 2 beach front lodges it leaves us spoiled for choice. We highly recommend Fiona and Kenny and will be telling all our family and friends about your amazing holiday homes.

This was our second stay at Fiona’s holiday home. We stayed in the Beaumont last time and the park lane this time. Both are amazing and so well equipped, with everything from a washing machine, an air fryer to a toasting machine. Tea and coffee plus treats are provided. The views are stunning. Our grandchildren had a ball. Thank you for allowing us to stay again.
