Great size and layout worked really well for us. Nice to have use of the pedalo too, great time filler to keep children entertained whilst cooking. We would definitely book again and recommend.

Had a king weekend in this lodge had a lovely time the lodge was spacious bedrooms lovely with comfy beds. Everything you need and it’s pet friendly with secure decking and a small garden also cones with its own pedalo so if you have older kids great fun for them. Was close to the complex so not a long walk to the shop or the pub. Everything was clean would stay here again without a doubt.

Fantastic time, lodge perfect nice and clean. Great position on park, not too far from complex but nice and quiet area. Outdoor area amazing,, kids loved pedlo and wildlife would highly recommend. Owner really helpful, answering queries, check in etc really straight forward. Will certainly be visiting again

Lovely clean spacious caravan. Pet friendly. Ideal location on site on lakeside. Fantastic location for exploring Northumberland. Owner extremely helpful, and responded to emails/ queries promptly. Would recommend to others. Fantastic stay

We had the bestest holiday ever. With family. lodge was outstanding. So very spacious and child friendly. Everything u need fabulous sitting out with views over the lake. Your own paddle boat also not that we used it. We will Definitely be back. We have many lovely photographs made lots of memories.Thank You

We have just returned from a 3 day break Fri to Mon with our young family. The lodge is situated in a fantastic area of the park overlooking the lake. The kids loved the peddle boat. The lodge was spotless. I simply don’t understand the latest review. We are used to staying in 5 star hotels and missed our holiday to Disneyland and New York this year due to Covid. This was a great wee break and we wouldn’t hesitate to book this lodge again.. The decor is slightly dated however it is very homely and clean. The Owner was great at keeping in touch with us and couldn’t have been more helpful. They even offered to ring reception to try and book bikes for us when we were struggling to do this online with haven. Thanks again for a lovely break!

Dirty in kitchen and very worn in other areas, missing lights, carpet samples covering holes, dirty plastic plants/ flowers caked in dust spent first day cleaning. Nowhere comfortable to sit for the whole week as only sofa was completely broken, tv freezes a lot.Decking is old and sagging in a lot of places it’s being held together with fake grass that is very slippy when wet the outside area is full of broken old furniture. They did offer for us to leave after I sent pictures but we had really looked forward to our holiday.It is good size and lovely position on lake but everything else let’s it down

Regarding this review if anyone interested in renting our lodge and that is concerned reading this review If you look below this review we have had nothing but five star reviews.

Had another fabulous weekend at Lodge absolutely amazing views. Home from Home. Pictures dont do it justice. Wished their cleaner lived nearby me. Spotless. Just what we needed to recharge our batteries

Steven and Chelsea were amazing with me and my family. They were really kind and went out their way to make sure we had all the information we needed before we arrived at the park. The lodge was beautiful with everything you needed for a home from home stay. It was very spacious and clean. The view from the lodge onto the lake was beautiful especially in the evening. The lodge is situated in a very quiet area and just a 10 minute walk from the main complex. The en-suite with full size bath was amazing especially with young children. Would highly recommend not only using the lodge but excellent customer service from Steven and Chelsea.

We stayed at this beautiful lodge for 4 nights early August with our son and his partner and Spot our Dalmatian dog. Everything about this accommodation is perfect, spacious, spotlessly clean, very well equipped and comfortable beds and situated in a quiet part of the holiday park. The lake view from the lodge and onto the decked and garden area was magnificent and having use of the pedal boat was an added bonus. Sat out on the decked area at night and could hear an owl in the distance! Could not fault this lodge at all. Highly recommended and we'll be back. Thank you to the Lewins family for a fabulous stay.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here as a little getaway, and can I just say, this was absolutely stunning. The lodge itself was immaculate, modern and had everything we needed. Customer service was outstanding. Overall this was a great experience, I'd highly recommend. We will definitely be coming back again!

Stayed here with my partner from Monday to Monday in October 2019, honestly couldn’t fault the place. Beautiful spacious lodge,multiple bedrooms, modern furnishings and situated right on the lake! (Makes for beautiful sunset and sunrise pictures). We made use of the paddle boat too which was eventful to say the least, a nice little touch especially for a family. The family who run the lodge are also lovely and friendly, no request is too big or small! Overall a great stay and will be booking back up! Highly recommend

Stayed here with my family on the weekend of September. First time staying at Haggerston Castle and we definitely will be coming back! The lodge is situated over the lake which is extremely relaxing to sit next to with provided deck chairs and a table when the children are in bed. My children absolutely loved using the paddle boat provided on the lake. They do provide DVDs to play on the tv, however most of these were adult DVDS so couldn’t play them for my children, this wasn’t a problem however as they were too busy playing on the boat to have noticed having no tv!

Stayed at this lodge twice in 2019 and will be returning in 2020. The lodge is superb with secure large gated decking for our little one. The lodge was imaculate with everything you need to make this a home from home. The lodge couldn't be better situated for spending the evenings on the decking with a beer watching the sun go down. Excilent communication with the owners and very prompted with answering any queries

Me and my girlfriend stayed back in September. Lodge was excellent, pictures definitely dont do it justice. The view of the lake whilst sitting outside is exceptional and the boat was a added bonus. Lodge was immaculate on arrival, we were both very impressed and will be booking up again in 2020.

Stayed here with my girlfriend over the weekend. Was absolutely beautiful. The lodge includes many facilities that is worth every penny, including the peddle boat that you can use at your own free will. Obviously being a young couple the only thing we would fault is no wifi, however this isn’t a necessity as you can easily use 4G and are there for a holiday to spend time together, not sit using WiFi. Overall, the lodge is stunning, the owners are extremely friendly and will assist with anything. Will book again for sure

Stayed here for a friends birthday weekend. The lodge was clean and well kept and everything we'd expect to have during our stay was provided for us. The facilities were easy to use and kept to high standard and even for a decently sized group, there was plenty of space for us all. Far enough from the complex to avoid any noise but not too far away that it's a hassle to get to nearby activities etc. Really loved the small boat in the garden, it's right on the main lake so no need to hire a boat from the main complex. Lovely stay, no hassle at all and the owners kept a check on us and answered any queries with quick and kind customer service. Great place to stay, get exactly what you pay for and would happily stay here again. 5 stars from me ????????

We absolutely loved our stay at the lodge. Did not feel like we were in a lodge at all it was that spacious and having 2 children aged 3 and 6 we definitely had enough space! Owners were so easy to get in touch any time of the day advising us on activities etc at Haggerston Castle, really lovely people. Kids and my hubby both loved the boat!! The view was lovely too very quiet area.
