Description


Swanage and the surrounding area has something for everyone. Swanage itself is a quaint seaside town with all amenities including restaurants, pubs, supermarkets, cinema, amusements, mini golf and a kid’s fun park. Close by is historic Corfe Castle (National Trust), Wareham, Studland beaches, Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove, Kimmeridge, Dancing Ledge, Monkey World, Dorset Water Park – to name but a few! The famous steam train at Swanage Railway is located in the heart of the town.

Swanage Bay View park is situated right next to the Townsend Nature Reserve with access directly from the park. From here there are fantastic walks which can take you to Durlston Country Park and the South West Coastal Path. This makes for a great circular walk in to Swanage and back to Swanage Bay View.

Our van is located in a quiet spot close to the park’s amenities yet retaining amazing views of Swanage Bay and the Purbecks. There is an indoor heated swimming pool (small charge applies), gym (charges apply), launderette, bar/clubhouse, reception with information on local attractions. A swimming timetable is available from reception along with clubhouse/bar opening hours. Our 2015 van has everything you need for holiday. There is a master bedroom with double bed plus 2 twin rooms all with wardrobe storage. All duvets and pillows are supplied in the van however you will need to bring your own fitted sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases. Please note that the duvet on the double bed is a king size. The master bedroom has an electric fan heater situated beneath the wardrobe and the twin bedrooms have wall mounted electric heating panels.

In the kitchen there is a fridge with small ice freezer, microwave, gas oven, grill and hob, kettle, toaster, crockery set, glasses plus numerous bowls and plates. There are also plastic plates and cups for kids should you need them.

The lounge area has plenty of seating for relaxing or watching TV plus a dining table with seating. There is a TV and DVD player in the lounge along with a variety of DVDs. There is an electric fire-effect fan heater.

The bathroom has a shower, toilet and basin with mirror over.

To the outside is a substantial deck with table and chairs with fantastic views over Swanage. Below the deck is a small, grassed area with rotary line. There is parking for one car outside the van plus more parking just a short walk away in the park’s main car park.

Along with duvets and pillows, we will provide a shower mat, hand towel and tea towel. You will need to bring your own bath/swim towels and bed linen.

Please inquire about shorter term bookings as these may well be available.

Check in time is from 3pm and check out is 10am.

We take a non-refundable £100 deposit at the time of booking and the balance is to be paid no less than 4 weeks before your holiday. We also ask for a £50 damage deposit, refundable after checkout and cleaning.

We would highly recommend this property. The best one we have stayed at on this park. The owner is very informative and helpful. Van was very clean on our arrival and is fully fitted with everything needed. Balcony offers great views.

After shaky start with the weather, we as a family with my daughter and our 3 Grandchildren had a fab time, Louise, the owner kept us well informed before and during our holiday, the caravan was very clean, beds comfy, very welcoming, views put over Swanage and the sea absolutely fab, thankyou Louise for accommodating us at short notice, Sandra x

The owner communicated promptly and clearly from our initial enquiry to the end of our stay and answered all our questions. The caravan was exactly like on the pictures and even exceeded our expectations. The cleanliness, position and facilities were perfect. All cutlery, plates, etc were new and clean. It was modern, cosy, comfortable and had the best best caravan shower we have ever used ???? We highly recommend and will be staying here again.
