Description

Description

The caravan has the benefit of a private, elevated terrace, ideal for afternoon tea, relaxing on a sun-lounger or observing birds and wildlife.

There are two stables available for rent, so you could bring your horses on holiday with you and drive/ride out to some spectacular beaches. There is ample parking for a horse trailer or a small boat if sailing is more your thing!

The caravan itself is cosy and well cared for. It has a fully equipped kitchen and a separate dining area which leads to the comfortable sitting room. Here we have a modern TV/DVD – a small selection of DVDs are provided along with books, magazines and games for your enjoyment.

The bedroom and shower room come furnished with quality bedding and towels (please bring your own towels for use on the beach etc.) There is ample space for clothes in the fitted wardrobes and dressing table. The shower room is quite spacious for a caravan, as the WC is separate.

In addition, outside you have the use of a stone shed - ideal for bicycles, fishing gear and drying wet equipment and muddy boots etc.

The nearby town of Amlwch has all the expected amenities, including a well-stocked supermarket, leisure centre, doctors’ surgery and so on.

There are many tourist attractions to visit on the island. A visitors pack is provided, to help you plan your stay and includes details of places to see and the best local restaurants.

This is a tranquil retreat from the stresses of modern life. Ideal for 'social distancing'.

Minimum stay 3 nights.

I thoroughly enjoyed my short break at Hen Felin. Glenys was very welcoming and helpful and the caravan suited me perfectly - the bed was comfy too! A secluded spot, yet not isolated - it was lovely to stand on the terrace with a cuppa and watch the horse and the rabbits in the field, listen to the birds and take in the sense of space, with the rolling hills around and the little stream running along the hedgeline below. The night skies were full of stars, something we never see in town. Shops in Amlwch, beach just down the road; it's a place well worth visiting.

Thank you, Janet, for a super review. I am so glad you enjoyed your stay. Hope to see you again in the future.

Glenys is very welcoming and attentive to guests needs and is always there if you need anything. The caravan is comfortable, clean and equipped with kitchen utensils, entertainment DVD's and games. The surrounding views are beautiful with plenty of wild life. It is not far from beautiful beaches, coastal path walk and the popular Copper Kingdom. We had a lovely time!

Thank you so much. Glad you enjoyed your stay. Hope to see you again in the future.

This is such a find! We were delighted with the location, quality of accommodation, helpfulness and generosity of the owner... everything was beyond our expectations! Thank you Glenys for sharing your hideaway. Walks from the doorstep, a gorgeous little cove and headland (we saw porpoises!) , industrial heritage sites, decent chippy...and red squirrels (we saw one up close and personal) .A memorable break; we'll be back!

Look forward to seeing you again. So glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for a lovely review.
