Owner Description

We have a 2009 6-8 berth double glazed and centrally heated caravan which is located on a very popular site at Looe Bay Holiday Park. It is on a quiet part of the park with ample parking space.
If you like a nice family friendly park then Looe Bay is for you. Ideal base for exploring or just relaxing.

There will be a welcome pack of Tea,Coffee,Milk and Sugar and a bottle of wine for your arrival. Bedding is included and all beds will be made up for your arrival. And has fully enclosed gated decking with a table and chairs for relaxing.

What is available on the site:
Leisure: Heated indoor pool, Crazy Caves indoor play area with ball pool, Pool, darts, Sun terrace with Sid & Lizzie playhouses, Amusements, Mini ten-pin bowling ,Solarium, Internet stations & Free Wi-Fi Zone, Mini golf, Junior sports court, Five-a-side football pitch, Tennis courts, Table tennis, Multisports court, Adventure playground, Nature trail, Free WiFi in the bar area.

Food and Drink:
Polperro Bar & Grill, Sundowner Club with Bar, Takeaway, Costa Coffee, Convenience shop & off licence, Sid and Lizzie's Treats & Sweets,Launderette Cash point.

Entertainment:
The Sundowner entertainment club with bar, live entertainment every night, Bingo, Tot Stars, Starlanders featuring Sid & Lizzie, Freestyle teenage events, Big screen TV with Sky TV, chargeable activities.

The local Area:
Reception has all the information you require. And has loads of leaflets of local attractions. As well as walks from the park that take in the beauty of the local area. The holiday park is only 1 mile away from the historic fishing village of Looe. Which is only a 10 minute bus ride away which you can get from the outside the park reception if you didn’t want to drive.

You can also get a bus from the site to Polperro, Liskeard and Plymouth.The bus is a nice way to visit Polperro as it stops right in the town itself. The Looe valley railway is available from Looe and goes to Liskeard, Where you can get trains to go further into Cornwall or the rest of the the South West. While the Eden project is only a 30 minute drive away and worth a visit.

Entertainment passes are not included in the price and can be purchased from reception on arrival at £5 per person with under 3's free. A £50 non refundable deposit is required to secure your booking within 2 weeks of the booking with the remainder due 6 weeks before start of your holiday.

You can pay by instalments if it is easier for you at no extra cost. We will send a receipt out after every payment.

Terms & Conditions

Contract
The Hiring contract is for a short-term holiday rental of the property specified on the booking form made between the Hirer and the owners of Looe Bay Caravan ("the owners") binding from such time that booking is made and inclusive of all the following conditions.
By making a booking the Hirer contracts on behalf of themselves and all those in their party and confirms that they have the authority to accept all following conditions on behalf of, and binding upon, all guests in his/her party.
Bookings are accepted on the understanding that the property is taken for holiday purposes only and that, excepting babies, the number of people in each property is limited to that entered on the booking form.
The Hirer and any friends or family of the Hirer visiting the property while the Hirer is staying there must adhere to the conditions of the contract, including the rules and procedures contained in the information folder provided in the property. If inviting friends to visit the Hirer must first seek the permission of the owners.

Payment
A deposit of £50 of the total cost of hire is payable on booking if the booking is made more than six weeks before the start of the rental. Bookings are provisional until a deposit is received.
Where bookings are made six (6) weeks or less before the date of arrival, the full amount of the total hiring charge is to be paid at the time of making the booking.
The balance shall be payable six (6) weeks before the commencement of the rental. Non-payment of the balance of the rent on or after the due date may be construed as a cancellation of the contract by the Hirer.
If a telephone booking is made, it will only remain in place for a period of no more than seven (7) days, pending receipt of the deposit. Booking will not be retained if the deposit has not been received within this period.
The hire charge is inclusive of numbers of persons and includes for the supply of electricity, gas, all bed linen and tea towels.
Payment by bank transfer, Paypal or cheque are accepted.

Cancellation
In the event of a cancellation the total cost is payable.
Any cancellation made by the Hirer for whatever reason must be confirmed in writing, by phone call or by email at least six weeks prior to the commencement of the letting.
On receipt of the notice of cancellation Looe Bay Caravan will seek to re-let the property for the period of booking. If a re-letting is achieved, Looe Bay Caravan will refund money already paid by the Hirer less rent for any part of the period which was not able to be re-let and less an administrative charge of £50.

Period of Hire
All bookings are from Saturday to Saturday and all bookings will commence at 3.00 p.m. (15:00 hrs) on the first day of the booking (subject to unavoidable delays) and terminate at 10.00am. (10:00 hrs) on the final day of the booking to allow time for the owners to prepare the property for the next booking.
All bookings are made on the understanding that your holiday home will be placed at your disposal on the date stated on the booking confirmation. If this should not be possible through circumstances beyond the control of the owners (e.g. fire, theft, damage etc.) or the property owners cannot guarantee to provide an alternative holiday home, in which case the booking deposit and hire charge, if paid, will be repaid in full, but you will have no claim against the property owners.

Right of Entry
Whilst respecting the reasonable privacy of the Hirer, the owners of Looe Bay Caravan reserve the right to access all properties at all times, if necessary, for repairs and emergencies.

Care of the Property
The Hirer shall take all reasonable and proper care of the property and its furniture, pictures, fittings and effects in or on the property and leave them in the same state of repair, condition, cleanliness and tidiness as at the commencement of the rental period.
Any issues/problems regarding the property hired must be reported to the owners, immediately, in order that early remedial action can be taken.

Breakages or Damage
The Hirer is required to inform the owner of any damage or breakage in or around the property promptly so that it can be repaired and replaced for the next Hirer.
The Hirer is bound to reimburse the owners for replacement, repair or extra cleaning costs where reasonably demanded by the owners for damage caused by the Hirer.

Rules and Procedures
Hirers are required to observe the rules and familiarise themselves with the procedures contained in the information folder provided in each property.

Smoking
Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the holiday accommodation or near to buildings.

Pets
No pets are permitted in the caravan, with the exception of guide dogs.

Liability
The owners of Looe Bay Caravan are not liable for any loss or damage to any Hirer's property or any property belonging to a member of the Hirer's party howsoever caused.
The Hirer or members of his/her party cannot hold the owners of Looe Bay Caravan liable for any personal injury/death howsoever sustained where the owners and/or their employees have used reasonable skill and care; and/or where caused by the fault of the person(s) affected or any member(s) of their party (including inadequate supervision of children); and/or where caused by the fault of a third party, and/or where caused by an event that could not have been reasonably foreseen or avoided.

The caravan was beautiful, such a lovely surprise when we arrived how homely it felt. All the extras took a lot of the stress away with having a 8 month old and 2 year old, the bed guards and high chair for example. Had a problem with car so ended up not arriving until 11pm so the tea/coffee etc was a god send. Would highly recommend was such a lovely place to stay x
