Port Haverigg Holiday Village is a hidden little gem in the Western Coast of the Lake District on site is a 200 acre private lake which offers a variety of water sports for all ages a cafe/bar that overlooks the lake serving good food and drinks, a children's play area and a beach that's just a short walk away Milliom town centre is just 5 mins drive by car and offers a variety of shops and restaurants also nearby haverigg has a convenient store ,post office and a fish and chip shop off site their are plenty of attractions to visit like Muncaster Castle, Lake Windermere the motor museum go ape and plenty more only a few miles away is the village of waberthwaite well known for its Cumberland sausage and is supplied to the queen he has the royal crest above his door

Excellent accommodation we really enjoyed our stay and the caravan was sat in a magnificent plot overlooking the lake. Pictures on the site don't show just how nice it really is. Site was lovely and friendly. I would like to think this may be a place i visit again and again. Thanks
