Wow! The lodge is amazing with everything you could possibly need included for your stay. It is very spacious and there was plenty of room for 6 of us (2 adults, 4 children aged 16,14,12 &10). The location was perfect, not far from Tenby beach or Saundersfoot and near to lots of attractions and restaurants. Lydstep beach itself is lovely, lots of rockpools to explore and the main Manor house was great for an evening drink or meal. The best part was waking up each morning to the beautiful view! The decking area outside the lodge is HUGE! It was perfect for dining, relaxing and enjoying the view. The owners are lovely and very helpful, I honestly cannot recommend this lodge enough and we are looking forward to going back again in the future. Thank you xx

Thank you so much Jenny, both Liz and I really look forward to welcoming you back to our lodge.

Well what can I say, what a wonderful week we had in this amazing lodge. The lodge was fabulous, with a great amount of space and fabulous new decking you couldn't ask for anything more. The lodge was lovely and clean and had hand sanitizer and some instructions regarding Covid. There were so many leaflets and flyers for places to visit and places to eat you were spoilt for choice. The lodge had a great choice of DVD's and games to play with in case of a rainy day, on this visit to Lydstep i am pleased to say we had great weather so we didn't get to use them. The view from the lodge was spectacular and other people in the row were so helpful and friendly. We had such a lovely holiday and can't wait to return next year. Kevin was so helpful with any questions prior to and during our trip, the check in process was smooth and the on site staff were brilliant and helpful. The only thing the site needs is a better phone/4G signal but that is not in Kevin's control so certainly won't hold that against him and it certainly doesn't spoil your holiday at all.

Wow!! We had the best time in the lodge, The lodge was immaculately cleaned on our arrival, and it has everything you could possibly need! Kev is very good at responding to any emails or questions I had previously and he’s very attentive if you need any help whilst your there. Everyone is so friendly in the row too and were helpful if we had any questions about the area! our 6yr old absolutely loved the beach and we spent 5 of the 6 mornings on it, because it’s so close you can come and go as you please. We have already booked to go again next summer... but for longer!! Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for your kind words. It was our pleasure to welcome you and the family Jess. And we are delighted you are coming back next year. Liz & Kev.

We absolutely loved this lodge and the site. The veiw from the large balcony was breathtaking. The lodge itself was spacious and equipped with everything you need. Chairs very comfortable. It was myself and elderly parents plus my little dog who is a working therapy dog. Fantastic area to explore or just relax with piece and quiet, bird sound and that view. What more could you ask. We will definitely be back again

Thank you so much for your review. We will be delighted to welcome you back in the future.

Wow. What can I say. Beautiful Lodge with one of the best views on the Park. Well appointed and plenty of kitchen equipment. Self catering was easy! Plenty of space for 3 adults. Very cosy and warm during not the best of weather!!! It did not matter, it was just nice being at the Lodge. We have a long association with Lydstep. I first went there as a 11 year old in 1959 when caravans were rather basic and there were toilet and shower blocks!!! The family owned from 1990 to 2002. We had a pitch on Haven Crest. This was the first time back and it was magic. The Owners, Kevin and Liz were so helpful and emails and messages were promptly answered. Hopefully we will be back soon. Thank you for letting us stay.

Thank you so much for your very kind review. Glad you had a great time despite the not so nice weather. Look forward to welcoming you back in the near future. Kev.

We stayed from 20th Sept to 26th Sept, the lodge is amazing! The views are incredible, the facilities were fantastic although it could do with WiFi, the lodge was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need in the kitchen. Kevin was very helpful and always on hand if we needed anything. Would highly recommend this lodge, it’s just amazing!

Thank you so much for your kind words Shelley. I know the option of WiFi is being looked into by the park. Due to the lodge location I think it’s proving to be an issue. But I know they are working on it. Thanks again.

We stayed here last year so second year running for us! The view from the decking is breathtaking and the caravan is so large and spacious that even as a family of 5 we never felt on top of each other. The bedrooms are big, the master bedroom with dressing room and en suite is fantastic. Well equipped with everything you need, basic household essentials and in the bathroom was a box of essentials if you'd forgotten anything which was a lovely touch. Enough parking for 2 vehicles outside the caravan too. Kev and Liz the new owners have made some improvements too; a lovely new outdoor dining table and chairs, new gas BBQ and kitchen bar chairs which were perfect to enjoy the view from the kitchen. We didn't think the bar, restaurant and pool would be open this year but they were, with a booking system for the restaurant giving you a 2 hour slot. As soon as we got home we started talking about next years holiday, as you do! And the children all said "can we go back to Lydstep".... think that says it all!

Thank you so much for your kind words . We are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us and look forward to welcoming you back in the future .

Another lovely holiday. The customer service received from the owners was excellent throughout. Although the lodge needs a little TLC, which Kev & Liz have already started to improve on (due to minor cosmetic issues left over from the previous owner) the stunning views from the enormous sunny deck more than compensates. Despite some of the social distancing restrictions affecting the amenities and the local areas we’ve still had a very enjoyable two weeks and the weather has been great. We love it here and hope to return to the lodge again next year.

Thank you for your kind words. We do have a few jobs left to do which will be carried out throughout this year. Unfortunately due to Covid lockdown we weren’t able to carry out prior to your visit.

We were lucky enough to have a cancellation at this wonderful lodge at Lydstep Holiday village. Booking was extremely quick and easy and the hosts Liz and Kevin were very friendly and informative about booking and information on checking in, processes and procedures. The lodge was really roomy for two adults and three sixteen year old teenagers with three double bedrooms with the master having a walk through wardrobe and ensuite bathroom. There was plenty of cupboard and storage space most of which was not utilized in our weeks stay. The kitchen is well stocked with large fridge, washing machine and dishwasher and we were able to cater easily for all five of us in the current Covid situation. The view and extensive decking was put used to good use as we were blessed with great weather which meant lots of outside breakfasts and BBQ meals. The lodge had basic supplies when we arrived so if you forget some essentials, you are covered. A wonderful week that we felt privileged to spend at the lodge and would definitely recommend it to others. A gem in the Pembrokshire / Lydstep rental market. Highly recommend it. XXX

Thank you so much for your kind words. We have tried to think of everything to enhance your stay.

Booked this lodge when our abroad holiday was cancelled. Kevin and Liz have been wonderful from the offset. The lodge was beautiful and is in my opinion in the best location on the site. The views are breath taking and the decking is extensive. There is lovely outdoor seating and BBQ facilities. We had many wonderful evenings on the decking with the children. Inside, it is very clean and spacious. Plenty of storage room too. It is well equipped and we'll maintained. We really struck lucky with this lodge and I can say that we will definitely be back. The park itself is beautiful and peaceful with lovely walks and places to go. With children we really recommend Folly Farm. Thank you Liz and Kevin. Until next time! Lau and Tony x

Thank you both so much for your kind words. Delighted you had a great time on holiday, and the lodge was everything you wanted. Liz and I will be delighted to welcome you back soon.

This is a spacious van with excellent views of the bay. The outdoor sofa beds were ideal to lie and relax in the sunshine although if you had a larger party there could do with more additional seating. The lodge is very comfortable and has everything you need for your stay. It is located in a quite area and is quite secluded - great if you are just looking for a peaceful quiet stay where you can relax and enjoy the view. There is a great short cut at the side of the lodge to the beach, although a little overgrown, is passable. The site is quite, well kept and tidy and there is a small shop on site for provisions so you don't have to trek into town. I absolutely love this site and have visited several times and would recommend the lodge for your stay. I only wish it was mine!

Lovely lodge located in the quiet Lydstep Beach Holiday Village near Tenby. It has two king sized bedrooms (one with walk in wardrobe and en-suite with shower) and a third double bedroom. Each room has its own TV and appropriate storage. There is a second main bathroom with another shower unit. The open plan living has a fully functional kitchen (inc. gas oven / hob, microwave, fridge / freezer, dishwasher and washing machine) with dining table and lounge area with TV. Compared to the photos displayed, the layout looked different as it’s evident work is being undertaken to refurbish the lodge. Views over the bay and beach are breathtakingly stunning! Decking area is spacious and ideal for outside dining / drinks (weather permitting!) but does need a little TLC - I’m sure this is part of the ongoing works being undertaken. Overall relatively clean; however, some parts could have done with a little more attention, but nothing a good Hoover wouldn’t sort out! Price wise, we negotiated a good deal with the owner for our time so was good valuable for money. Customer service and response time from owner was swift and supportive. Due to location of the lodge there is little (or no) mobile signal / WiFi or 3G/4G coverage - if this is important to you take a MyFi booster with you. Overall, a pleasant and relaxing holiday in a lovely part of the world. I would recommend this holiday park and the lodge - the space and the view is worth it!

Weekend stay 23rd Nov 18. 2 adults, 1 dog. Site positives; Location, well maintained, not tacky. Site negatives: Did not encounter any. Lodge positives inc: Fabulous views, location, size, layout, heats up quickly, comfortable, strong hot showers, 3 double beds, 2 bathrooms, no odour, no pet hairs, clean windows, direct access to the beach through a little gate within the enclosed terrace down the narrow pathway and down the steep baking to the beach. Lodge negatives inc: the photos shown ae atleast 5 years old. I encountered Health and safety inc: no C02 and smoke alarm, very slippery and distressed decking. Maintenance inc: broken toaster, missing and broken lighting internal and external, broken radiator in bathroom, damp in 1 bedroom, master bathroom extractor broken, kitchen sink tap broken, flooring rising. House keeping inc: mouldy seating for rattan furniture, mis match, insufficient dilapidated glass, table, cutlery, cook wear, dining chairs, coasters, table mats, etc. I did send my photos to Andy and sent him a reminder that I was still owed my £100 bond. He agreed my photo's were 'True' and he did return my bond. He did not offer me a refund or apology. If these issues and the other numerous ones that were written in the visitors book were addressed, then anyone would have a pleasant stay. :

Lovely lodge with a great sea view. Plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We have rented a couple of lodges through ukcaravans before and this was by far the best. It made a great base to visit the surrounding area and the beaches were all amazing.

We had a fantastic week despite the weather. The view is incredible and the lodge is so spacious and comfortable. Our kids aged 11, 14 and 16 had plenty of space to do their own thing. The site is lovely and a great location for attractions. The manor house is great, not as lively as others we have been to but suited us and the food was nice and reasonable. We will certainly be back.

Advertised as a luxury lodge but on arrival we were bitterly dissapointed with the cleanliness and general condition of the lodge. We spent most of our arrival day cleaning so our 1 year old didn't have to crawl through clumps of dog hair, dust and crumbs. We then tried to contact Andy to see if we could get a refund, arrange a cleaner but even after 7 days of trying he did not reply. If it weren't for the park itself, beach and the amazing beach the holiday would of been a wipe out. Lodge needs a deep clean and a few £££'s spent on it. If we wanted a sub standard caravan we would of hired one in the neighbouring 'cheaper' caravan park.

We have used his caravan many times now and have just booked another 2 visits. We have always found it to be clean and in good order. We have had very few reasons to contact the owner but when we have he has been quick to respond. It's a beautiful lodge with a beautiful view.

I had the pleasure of staying in this lodge with my family and little grandson. I was pleasantly surprised, lovely interior, very clean. The decking was great , as my grandson and his dog could play on the decking and were safe as there is code point to open the gate, so it was very safe. Lovely rattan deck furnishing right on the beach. All in all I would recommend this lodge, as we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with no reason to complain about anything
