Guests are asked to sign a copy of the house rules upon arrival at our coastal retreat.
1. A £75 security deposit is required when guests arrive. This can be paid via cash, PayPal or bank transfer. This will be refunded, unless there is damage to the caravan, or the rules have not been observed. Your deposit will be refunded after your stay. We will ensure that there is no damage to the caravan and if there are any concerns noted whilst our lovely cleaner is preparing the caravan for our next guests, we will take pictures and share this with you, and advise of the next steps.
2. £25 is the charge for replacing a lost key and will come out of the £75 refundable security deposit.
3. Wifi is available in the caravan, however, is £10 for the duration of the stay. Please refer to payment details for the security deposit in relation to how you can make payment for this service. Once payment has been received, you will be provided with details on how to connect to the Wifi. If the Wifi box is reset by guests, you will not receive the security deposit back at the end of your stay.
4. We do not allow smoking in the caravan or on the decking. If you wish to smoke, please do so on the grass and please do not chuck any cigarette butts onto the floor.
5. Bedding including duvets, pillows, towels and any necessities such as shampoo and soap are not provided, in light of COVID-19. This includes soft rinse and conditioner for the washing machine. Please leave the mattress protectors on the mattresses. If these are found to be missing, your security deposit will not be returned. There are spare toilet rolls in the bathroom. Please do not take these with you at the end of your stay.
6. Shoes are not to be worn in the caravan and are to be taken off and left on the designated mat by the front door and the mat at the back doors.
7. The dishwasher, if used, will need to be unloaded prior to departure. If this is not done, the deposit will not be refunded. Guests are expected to clean up any dishes that they use during their stay and place them back in the cupboards.
8. Guest are not to remove anything from the caravan. This includes taking any of the furniture out onto the decking. No furniture from inside of the caravan is to be moved outside of the caravan, including onto the decking.
9. If more than 6 people are observed to stay in the caravan, guests will be asked to leave and their deposit will not be refunded.
10. There is external CCTV. Guests are not to tamper with this, and if tampered with, will result in the loss of the £75 security deposit.
11. No pets are to stay in the caravan.
12. If the caravan is left unlocked, either the window or the doors, this will result in the security deposit not being refunded.
13. Please do not park on the grass. There is a designated parking spot outside of the caravan but if you wish to bring more than one car, please park in one of the designated bays around the holiday park. If guests are observed to park on the grass, this will result in the loss of your security deposit.
14. There is a hoover and dustpan and brush set in the cupboard, should you need them during your stay. Please do not remove them from the caravan.
15. Holiday passes for use of Romney Sands' clubhouse and amenities are not provided, but details can be left in relation to how guests can purchase these from reception.
By signing this agreement, you are agreeing to the house rules and understand that your security deposit will not be refunded if any of these rules are not observed. If you do not agree, the stay at the caravan is not able to occur.
