About the owner

Hi I’m Barbara the owner of Woodland’s and Willow’s Retreat Caravan Hire at Flamingoland. After many years of caravan holidays we decided to buy our own static caravans. We love the Yorkshire coast but settled on caravans at Flamingoland as it has so much on site to offer families and it’s only 25 miles from Scarborough, Filey and Whitby. We know how important holidays are and what we like to expect when we arrive on holiday. Our caravans are a home away from home and we like to make them this way to provide our guests with the best experience whilst on holiday. We pride ourselves on the standard of our accommodation and we promise you that you won’t be disappointed. Our caravan is south facing with front opening patio doors and a fully enclosed veranda with outdoor furniture.
Bedding is provided by us and beds are made up for your arrival.
There is a family bath/shower room and an ensuite toilet with wash basin.
We have a large drive with parking for 2 cars.
WiFi is provided by Flamingoland but not by us as owners.

Description

Stunning Swift Bordeaux Platinum 3 bedroomed central heated and double glazed modern caravan for hire . The caravan is located in the peaceful Woodlands area of Flamingo Land Holiday Village not far from the Splash Zone Swimming Pool.

The caravan sleeps 6 in 1 double (en-suite) and 2 twin bedded rooms. Bedding is provided and beds are made up ready for your arrival. There is also room for an additional infant (under 2) in the main bedroom. A travel cot can be provided upon request. The caravan is our home from home and is fitted with everything you may need. There is a 43” TV in the living area with DVD player and DVD’s. We also have books and games. There is a kettle, toaster, microwave, full size cooker and full size fridge freezer in the kitchen area. The kitchen also has a range of pots, pans, glasses, cutlery, utensils, knives, chopping boards, baking tray and bowls, There is also a dining table with 4 chairs. There are 2 additional folding chairs if needed. There is also a high chair available on request.
The main bathroom has a shower cubicle, sink and toilet and the en-suite has a toilet and sink.

The caravan is south facing and it has front opening doors and outdoor furniture on the fully enclosed veranda. This is the perfect place for relaxing in the morning or evening sun.

Unlimited access passes for Flamingo Land must be bought on arrival. This gives you full access to the theme park, zoo, daytime and evening entertainment, splash zone (swimming pool) and there is a jacuzzi, sauna and gym for over 18’s. Each guest aged 4 and over must purchase a pass.

Flamingo Land is located just 25 miles from the wonderful Yorkshire coast (Scarborough, Filey and Whitby.)

There is a launderette, mini market/shop in the holiday village. The theme park has a number of places where you can sit down to eat or grab a takeaway. These include The Manor House and Coach House, Fabrizzio’s Pizzas, Cooplands, Fortune to go, Curry Express and the Gourmet Grill. There are a number of local take aways that deliver to the holiday village and some lovely places to eat out in the local area .

Clean, modern and tidy caravan. The owners have thoroughly thought of everything and we had a relaxing and comfortable stay, a real home away from home, including ice pops for the kids.

We stayed with our 2 grandsons. The caravan was first class. Good communication with owner before and during our stay. The location was peaceful and clean. If we stay here again, this will be our first choice of accommodation.

Thank for a great family holiday in your lovely caravan which had a great homely feel about it. The welcome pack was a good surprise especially the ice poles after a hot journey. Good communication with Babs who gave us lots of information beforehand which was great. Well equipped caravan with little extras like games and dvd to entertain ourselves. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here and would book again if returning . Gordon

What a beautiful caravan. So modern and clean, lovely to walk in to. Booked last minute for the jubilee. We travelled as 2 families with 3 children under the age of 3. Lovely little touches like cute bedding on the children's beds, ice pops in the freezer for them on arrival Stayed in touch before we arrived with lots of info regarding our arrival, nearby shops and takeaways and info on flamingo land and how we can purchase our tickets. Amazing host! We had such a lovely jubilee weekend and wouldn't hesitate to book this beautiful caravan in the future. Thank you so much!

Really enjoyed staying here. The caravan was lovely, great layout and well kept. It was also the little things that made a difference such as Tupperware boxes we could use for packed lunches, some tea and coffee which saved taking absolutely everything with us. Babs was super informative with information which helped out a lot and was great to deal with, Highly recommended.
