George is a 2 bedroom, no smoking (including e-cigarettes) and no pets, double-glazed, gas central heated caravan situated in the beautiful location of Waterside Holiday Park & Spa, Weymouth. We are very proud of George, and keep it maintained to a very high standard, in order to ensure that it be your home away from home for the most important time of your year - your well-earned holiday. George will provide you with a safe, comfortable and happy stay in one of the country's most popular premier caravan sites
GEORGE’S ACCOMMODATION
A fully insulated interior, with double glazed windows and full gas-central heating. A large master bedroom with a comfy double bed, wardrobe and vanity unit and wall-mounted TV. A second bedroom with two single beds and wardrobe. A beautiful Jack-and-Jill bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet. A separate toilet with wash basin. An open-plan kitchen which contains a full size fridge freezer, sink, microwave oven, kettle and toaster and a gas oven with four rings, a grill and top & bottom ovens
A dining table and four dining chairs, (there is a child's booster seat stored under the bed in the master bedroom.)
An HDTV with HDMI and USB input and remote control, DVD player with remote control.
To benefit from the new improved WiFi on the Park a Chromecast stick is installed in the HDMI1 socket on the TV, which you can access using the Input button on the TV remote. The same Input button will enable you to return the TV to viewing programs via the antenna (aerial). So if you are a Netflix account holder bring your user name and password with you and you should be able to log in via your mobile phone, tablet or laptop and enjoy your favourite programs at George. When casting to the TV look for 'George TV' in the options offered. Obviously you'll also be able to cast YouTube and other similar apps.
A comfortable six-seater settee, which contains a pull-out sprung double-bed. A beautiful coffee table, and electric fire.
Outside, a large, enclosed decking complete with six chairs and a table. Immediately adjacent there is a tarmac driveway, large enough to park one car

You will need to download the 'Pod Point Open Charge App' from Google Play or the App Store. Once you have registered please let Waterside know the email address you have registered with and you will have 1 Hour per day free, then 25p per kWh thereafter.
Waste disposal and recycling
Recycling items need to go into clear bags, a supply of which can be obtained from Reception), and then be put into the large Recycling bins at the waste collection bays around the park. NOTE: any black bags in the Recycling bins will contaminate the whole bin preventing it from being recycled The collection company are committed to sustainability. Instead, they transform it into quality recycled materials and vital renewable energy Nothing goes to landfill

WATERSIDE HOLIDAY PARK & SPA, is perfectly placed as a base for exploring the surrounding area. Weymouth has a multi-award winning beach with lots of children's activities including the world famous Punch & Judy show and donkeys, Georgian seafront promenade, historic harbour-side, quaint old shopping alleys and marina. Dorset is famed for its beautiful countryside and picturesque towns and scenic villages, with thatched cottages, rolling hills and sheer cliffs along the Jurassic coast line.
There is a wide ranging selection of things to do. There are too many attractions to list them all, but below is a modest sample:
Bowleaze Cove - is a sand and shingle beach which stands opposite the entrance to Waterside Holiday Park; it has the Fantasy Island family fun park, the Sunset Coffee Bar and a self service family restaurant. It is ideally located just off the park for those that may want to take advantage of some sun and sea and beach without having to travel too far a-field.
Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens - established in 1765 by the first Countess of Ilchester as a kitchen garden for her nearby castle. A magnificent 30 acre garden filled with rare and exotic plants from all over the world. Many of these plants were first introductions to this country, discovered by the plant hunting descendants of the Countess.
Abbotsbury Swannery - one of the most popular things to do for the family visiting Dorset. This unique natural wildlife habitat is also popular with filmmakers and has been used as a location for Harry Potter filming.
Abbotsbury Children's Farm - a great place for the young family. There are lots of animals for the children to meet, greet and feed. There are fun things to do every day.
Athelhampton House & Gardens - it's history and that of its interrelated families covers more than a thousand years. Much of the present house has stood over five centuries.
Adventure Wonderland - an ideal place for families with children aged 3 to 10 years old! Come and have a Full Days Fun at Dorset's Number One!
Beaulieu National Motor Museum - an award winning family visitor attraction at the heart of the New Forest National Park. There are over 800 years of heritage to be seen on the Beaulieu Estate.
Bennetts Water Gardens - set over 8 acres the gardens hold the National Plant Collection of Water Lilies with a Claude Monet style Japanese Bridge, Tropical House, Woodland Walks and Museum.
Blue Pool & Wareham Bears - The Blue Pool constantly varies in colour. Very fine clay in suspension in the water diffracts light in different ways, producing a spectrum of colour. The Wareham Bears are a collection of 200+ miniature dressed bears set within various environments.
Brewery Square Dorchester - a vibrant new quarter in the heart of Dorset's county town which re-defines Dorchester as a shopping & leisure destination.

Bucklers Hard - is a hamlet situated on the banks of the Beaulieu River Hampshire. With Georgian cottages running down to the river, it is part of the 9,000 acres Beaulieu Estate.
Cerne Abbas Giant - is an ancient naked figure sculpted into the chalk hillside above Cerne Abbas.
Chesil Beach - is a major part of the Jurassic coast, a World Heritage site.
Compton Acres - a large privately owned garden founded in 1920 by Thomas William Simpson, an entrepreneur who had become wealthy through the manufacture of margarine.
Corfe Castle - is a fortification standing above the village of the same name on the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset. Built by William the Conqueror.
Cranborne Garden Centre - an independent country garden centre and cafe situated in the old walled garden of Cranborne Manor, Dorset.

Priest's House Museum & Garden - there are 10 galleries to explore. Displays include audio descriptions and children's activities. A beautiful walled garden, gift shop and tearoom complete any visit.
Radipole Lake - a nature reserve in central Weymouth sounds unlikely, but once you are on the footpath amongst the reeds and lagoons you could be far away in the countryside. Radipole is a great place to come, whether you are new to wildlife watching or an old hand. The visitor centre looks out over open water, and firm paths suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs take you into the best area. There is plenty for families to do.
Rock Reef - an all year, all weather adventure activity attraction at Bournemouth Pier featuring Clip n鈥?Climb, The Pier Cave, HighLine and the awesome PierZip.
Royal Signals Museum - interactive, informative, inspiring. A fabulous family day out.
Rodwell Trail- a nice easy off road trail through Weymouth using a disused railway path. After passing through the Rodwell district of Weymouth you join a lovely coastal stretch at the ruins of 16th century Sandsfoot Castle and the beautiful Sandsfoot Cove. From here the path runs along the coast to the Ferry Bridge that you can cross to the Isle of Portland. There is a variety of wildlife to be found on the trail. Plantlife includes Foxgloves, Bluebells and Meadow Buttercups. The trail is suitable for walkers and cyclists looking for a safe off road route.
Rossi's Ices, facing Weymouth Bay was founded in 1937 by an Italian immigrant, Fioravanti Figliolini and has remained open continuously apart from a brief period during World War II. The premises feature original 1930s decor and were Grade II listed in 1997 as part of the Royal Arcade.
Sand World - the best sand artists from around the world share the universal joy that is sand sculpting!
Sandsfoot Castle - was completed in about 1539, on the order of King Henry VIII, to provide in conjunction with Portland Castle a defence for shipping in the safe anchorage of Portland Roads (Portland Harbour).
Seafront and Harbour - Weymouth's three mile beach is just minutes from the town centre and historic harbour, with traditional attractions such as Punch & Judy and donkey rides, lively events such as beach volleyball championships, live music and free summer firework displays, stroll along the level promenade or just relax in the sunshine.
