Well, what can I say, but from the moment we pulled up at the lodge and entering, all hubby and I could keep saying was WOW! This lodge I can honestly say definitely has one of the best spots on the site, the beautiful views and sunsets and sunrise (if you are up early enough) were amazing, I couldn't stop going to take photos ???? The lodge itself is beautiful inside and out, it is well equipped, it's home from home, with a private fenced off garden, beautiful to sit out and relax, it's in such a peaceful spot. And what can I say about the owners, well, they are amazing, right from starting my enquiry to leaving when our stay ended (which I wish it didn't have to end) ???? Lisa gave me a courtesy call before our trip, explaining everything we needed to know about our upcoming stay, how to get the key etc and for me not to hesitate contacting her if I had any questions ???? Everything is in a folder explaining all you need to know, it's so very organised. Also a lovely little guest book there too. Everything was there for us when we arrived, a welcome pack, with a card welcoming us and a bottle of prosecco (this was our belated staycation honeymoon) scones, jam ( we had a very nice afternoon tea ????) milk in the fridge, juices, chocolates, face masks, gloves...I could just go on and on! ???? They really did go that extra mile, hence why I am booking for next September and oh my I will be counting down the weeks! Lisa and Steve I want to say a really big thank you to you both for our amazing stay, we really did enjoy it and are already looking forward to next year.
