Description

Description

Port Haverigg Holiday Village situated on the magnificent Duddon estuary is a hidden little gem in the Western Coast of the Lake District. On site is a 200 acre private lake which offers a variety of water sports for all ages, a cafe/bar that overlooks the lake serving good food and drinks, a children's play area and a 3 mile sandy beach that's just a short walk away.

Millom town center is just 5 mins drive by car and offers a variety of shops such as Tesco and Co-op and a few take-aways/restaurants. Plenty of attractions to visit like Muncaster Castle, Lake Windermere, Ulverston and Coniston. All year you can enjoy breathtaking views, take wonderful walks or simply relax in the tranquil surroundings.

Situated by the Hodbarrow Lagoon & RSPB Nature reserve, this beautiful location is perfect for bird watchers and nature lovers alike. With its abundant wildlife and surrounding scrub and grassland, it is home to songbirds, rare plants and natterjack toads, marsh and bee orchids add colour to the flower-rich grasslands. The 4-mile circular walk around the lake is pushchair-friendly and ideal for runners and cyclists alike.

For the climbers and walkers there is the mighty Scafell and the not so daunting Coniston Old Man, the Langdales and Tarn Hows and all the various routes up Black Coombe.

When taking your holiday at Port Haverigg Marina Village, you are sure to take home many wonderful memories that will last a lifetime!
