Our modern, dog friendly, two bedroomed holiday home in North Yorkshire is perfect for a couple of nights away or a longer stay.
Towels and bed linen are provided as well as a welcom hamper and hairdryer.
It really is a home from home.

There’s parking, wooden decking and a table and chairs outside where you’re able to enjoy your morning coffee.
Inside you’’ll find a spacious living area with a pull out sofa bed and kitchen connecting to a double and twin bedroom.
The lounge sofa bed is suitable for children / young teens.
There’s a shower room equipped with a thermostatic bar shower, basin and toilet.
The caravan is fully centrally heated with radiators in each room and a gas fire in the lounge area.

The Brimham Retreat is in an ideal location when visiting the surrounding area.
There are bus stops located just outside the entrance of the park with routes to Knaresborough, Harrogate, Wetherby, York, Leeds and further afield.
The on-site pub, The Mill Tavern and the riverside Watermill Cafe are all within 5 minutes walking distance and there is also a shopping centre over the road from the park.
There's a children's play area and dog exercising field too.

A cafe down by the river.

A small shop and launderette near to the sales office.

St James Retail Park is across the road and there is a bus stop right outside the turn off for the park with a regular bus service to Knaresborough, Harrogate and further afield.

From start to finish, Jackie was brilliant, communication prior to arrival, during and after was first class. The caravan itself, faultless, little welcome pack and card hoping we have a lovely stay. The caravan was always warm, extremely clean and perfect for the weekend get away. Everything was well thought out, even the box with the dog blankets and little bowls. Bus link right outside the park itself taking you into town, breakfast from the cafe on site was yummy! We will be staying again and highly recommend booking the caravan for a lovely time in knaresborough

I can't fault this. The caravan was spotless, everything we needed was there, even down to please and cups for young children. The site is very nice, with a lovely stretch of the River Nidd running past the cafe. It is ideal for paddling and swimming. There is a pub on site, serving decent food from Thursday - Sunday, and a building with a shop (very limited hours) and a self service launderette. There is a fairly large retail park over the road from the site (M&S Food, Next, Argos, Boots, McDonald's etc), and the bus to Harrogate via Knaresborough stops right outside. The bus ride to Knaresborough is about six minutes, £1.10 for an adult). Whenever we had a question about the caravan or the site, out emails to the caravan owners were answered within minutes. If ever we're looking to be in that area again, and it is a very nice town, we will be sure to give this place another go.

We had a lovely stay in this caravan Everything was catered for Lovely and clean and comfortable The site is beautiful with the stream and all the grassy areas for our dog Would definitely stay here again

Caravan very clean and well stocked . Really enjoyed the break. Bed was comfortable and all other facilities (shower, cooker etc. worked well. Highly recommended. The holiday park was one of the nicest we have visited located beside the River Nidd and close to amenities in Harrogate and Knaresborough.

The caravan owners thought of everything , we took our cocker spaniel and there was a little veranda which was gated so we could relax knowing our dog was safe. The owner also left dog treats and dog towels, which really came in handy when we came in from a walk with a wet dog. The owners also left tea, coffee and a small selection of biscuits which we did not expect for a caravan break. The caravan was clean and will return when work allows.

Owner's booking terms

Minimum 2 nights booking plus £30.00 cleaning fee which is under linen in extras & needs to be selected.

Check in is 2pm

Check out is 11am

The boiler is immediately as you come in to the right of the door and is straight forward to operate.

We request that our guests do not wear their shoes inside the caravan and do the dishes.

Quiet hours are between 11pm and 8am, we ask kindly that you please respect our neighbours.

There is one parking space provided directly outside of the caravan if you will be coming in more than one vehicle there’s additional parking in a bigger car park a 1 minute walk away.

Please note that commercial vehicles are not allowed.

We normally allow one small, well behaved dog, but this can be discussed and we kindly request that your dog be kept off the furniture and beds.

No ball games allowed outside the caravan.

No charcoal barbecues allowed and no cooking of fish or overly spicy foods please in or on the oven or microwave.

When you leave please empty the bin, switch off the heating / water, leave the gate pass in the bowl and lock the door leaving the key back in the lock box.
