Nidd Way is a 6 berth static caravan situated on Lido Leisure Park, Knaresborough in North Yorkshire. A home away from home. A perfect base in the heart of Yorkshire.

The caravan has 2 bedrooms, the master bedroom has an en-suite, a twin room and a sofa bed in the living area. Bed linen is provided for all beds. A travel cot is provided. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower and towels are provided.The living area has plenty of seating provided by a large corner sofa, a smart TV and an electric log effect fire. The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering and includes 2 children’s place settings. There is a dining area to seat 6 people. Central heating throughout.

The caravan has a patio area with seating and a sunshade and parking for one car. Additional parking can be found at the reception area.

On site there is the Waterside Cafe by the River Nidd and The Mill Tavern, a bar/restaurant with live entertainment, quiz nights and sky sports. The river Nidd runs through the Lido site and has a riverside walk into Knaresborough where you will find local shops, restaurants and bars. St James retail park with various retail outlets and M&S food store is just over the road from the site.

The area has many attractions and some very nice restaurants. The famous Betty’s tearooms, Harlow Carr Gardens, Mother Shipton’s Cave. Enjoy a walk along the river Nidd. The surrounding Yorkshire countryside is breath-taking with the Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire Moors just waiting to be explored.

Regular trains to York and Leeds (approx. 40. Mins) Local bus routes very close, buses very frequent. Close to the A1 and A59 making it easier to explore further afield.

Lovely caravan and site. My boys loved playing in the river. Only issue was the bar being cash only but we managed to get cash out at the local petrol station. Thank you for the welcome goodies too. Much appreciated.

What a lovely place, ghe site cannot be beaten, so lovely to walk with the dogs and everyone and I mean everyone says hello.....the lido has tea rooms by the side of it and their bread is so lovely and fresh, the whole place subtley relaxes you more than you'd expect, me and my family have thoroughly enjoyed our time there Mon to Fri is not enough....love to go back there, the caravan Sue was so lovely, thank you. Neighbours too.

We would highly recommend the Lido Leisure Park. The location was excellent with a lovely walk (30/40 minutes) into Knaresborough if you take the path on the other side of the River Nidd from the park. The caravan (N18)was roomy, modern and spotless and the owner Sue, emailed us with all the relevant information prior to our arrival. We had a welcome pack consisting of milk, bread, biscuits, jam and Haribos. We had our dog with us and he enjoyed swimming in the river and was welcomed into a number of cafes/restaurants in Knaresborough. There was also a large grassy area for dogs to exercise. On the site. Great location with a retail park a 5 minutes walk from the main entrance. A beautiful part of Yorkshire.

We enjoyed our stay. The Lido is perfectly placed on the outskirts of Harrogate to travel into Harrogate by car and the site is relaxed with lovely walks done to the lido or off site into Knaresborough. The holiday home was clean and modern and when we have problems with our gas Sue was quick to offer assistance and help us to sort it. We would recommend this site and particular holiday home to friends and family and would stay here again next time we visit Harrogate.

Caravan is sited on large site next to the river Nidd, it is a clean, tidy and well run site and a good base for the surrounding area. The caravan itself ideal for any sort of break.

I and my sister and 2 dogs have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lido. The site is extremely clean and well maintained with the added bonus of having a small retail park across the road . The Lido is in a great location for visiting the area. The caravan layout is very good with the kitchen partitioned off from the lounge making it feel light open and spacious. Two good bedrooms with the double being ensuite. A very efficient shower in the main bathroom . Very well equipped kitchen and milk provided for your first few days. You can relax in the spacious lounge with the dogs. There is a good dining area. Nice veranda and would suggest a gate be fitted so you can allow the dogs to sit out without them wandering off. Picnic table and parasol provided which would have been used if visiting in good weather . Highly recommend No 18. Sue is a considerate and thoughtful host we will certainly revisit.
