Widemouth Bay on the Atlantic Ocean awaits you for paddling, swimming, surfing, belly boarding, sunbathing or just watching the most incredible sunsets. Taking time out to be in nature with the sea, wave watching or walking on the beach first thing in the morning will relax and rejuvenate you. At low tide there are rock pools to investigate and caves to explore. With its stunning coastline and multiple beaches to choose from (some are dog friendly all year long), North Cornwall is the ideal location to holiday.
Sunshine Lodge is situated at Widemouth Fields Holiday Park, a quiet dog friendly park open all year round. There is no clubhouse, games room or noisy activities. There is a grass areas for children and families to play. There are outstanding views of the countryside surrounding the park.
Our lodge is a private lodge on park which is part of Aria Resorts. If any problems arise we will give you the numbers of our manager/housekeeper and ourselves before arrival with your welcome message.
Sunshine Lodge has an open plan lounge with a dining area which has far reaching views over the hills of North Cornwall and fully fitted kitchen with all modern conveniences; soup maker, nutribullet, slow cooker etc and it has a washing machine. Washing up liquid, cloths, binbags etc are provided.
It has 3 bedrooms; 1 double en-suite with a shower, another double and a twin with single beds. Bedding is provided. Please bring your own towels. There is a family bathroom with a bath. A large decking surrounds the lodge for those balmy evening celebrations or to have your breakfast al fresco in the morning.
Sunshine Lodge is an ideal base for couples or for a family who wish to have a relaxing holiday near the beach and the North Cornish town of Bude. We do not accept all male, all female unless by prior arrangement. Strictly no parties.
Well behaved dogs are welcome in the accommodation. There is no extra charge for your dog. Please contact us with details of your dog (s), up to 2 dogs, but please contact us if you have 3 dogs and we will be able to discuss this further. Maximum occupancy is 6 people.
All female or male groups are not accepted unless by prior arrangements. This is the policy of Sunshine Lodge and Aria Resorts. Please message us for further information.
Terms and Conditions
Arrival
You will be given directions for the arrival before you come, including the barrier code and key code.
When you leave
We appreciate you leaving Sunshine Lodge in tidy order. So please bag up your rubbish and take it to the communal bin, recycle where possible located 25 meters from the lodge. Please strip your beds putting the sheets and pillow cases within the duvet cover and leave them in the Dirty towels in the bath. This helps our housekeeper have less contact with the linen.
Pets:
Most dogs are welcome in our Lodge and on the park, with a maximum number of two or three. Dogs listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 are prohibited from entering the park, these are the rules of Aria Resort Holiday Park, not ours. Pets must be kept on a lead, under control of a reasonable adult, wear a collar with identity tag and not be left unattended. If pets are reported that they have been left unattended, guest will be asked to leave. Pet owners are responsible for keeping their pets under control and must be considerate to other holiday guests at all times. Please pick up after your doggie at all times.

Personal Possessions:
You are responsible for any personal possessions on the park, in your car or accommodation. Aria Resorts Ltd and Sunshine Lodge are unable to accept liability for any loss or damage during your holiday period. You will need to arrange collection & payment of any items left on the resort that you would like returned to your home address.
