Amazing sea views from this 35' x 20' Omar Kingfisher lodge. The lodge has 2 bedrooms, one with king-size bed, the other two 3' single beds. There is an on suite shower room off the main bedroom and a separate bathroom with a bath. The living accommodation is an open plan kitchen lounge diner with two sets of french doors opening onto the decking from where you can really appreciate the view and wave to the people on the steam train as it passes by. Private WiFi is included. Outside you have a patio table with parasol and chairs as well as a small rattan furniture set. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and a full size fridge freezer. In the bedrooms duvets and pillows are provided but you will need to bring your own linen and towels. You need a king-size duvet cover and pillow cases (4 pillows supplied) for the main bed and two 3' single duvet covers and pillow cases for the single beds (2 pillows supplied for each bed). The lodge is located at the top of the site which gives the amazing views but is also quite a steep walk if you are not driving. There is an allocated parking space for the lodge with a security post to ensure you always have somewhere to park. The decking has 3 steps up to the front door but other than that it is level access from the parking area. Due to the height of the area we have a minimum age of 10 years old for any children. This is for the safety of young children who may not realise the dangers of climbing on the decking. Please note the lodge is no smoking and no pets. Finally, we charge a £75 security deposit which is refunded once the lodge has been checked after your stay.

Waterside Park is run by Park Holidays and has a outdoor swimming pool, entertainment venue, arcade, cafe area and laundrette. The entertainment includes kids clubs, nightly entertainment and bingo. All of these are subject to covid restrictions when necessary and are at extra cost with entertainment passes required. These can be purchased from the park reception and I believe are about £7 each for the week.

The Torbay area of Devon is a fantastic place to visit for your holiday and Waterside is perfectly placed to explore the area either by car or the bus service which stops outside the entrance to the park and takes you to Brixham, Paignton and Torquay. If you prefer to walk the park has direct access to the coastal path from where you can walk to the beaches at Goodrington and Broadsands or explore the coves along the way. You can also follow the path right around the bay if your feeling energetic!
