CARAVAN TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. PAYMENTS
2. Deposit and Payment
A provisional booking will be accepted by the caravan owner subject to receiving £50.00 deposit within 3 working days. Payment should be made to the account details given. When your deposit has been received you will receive confirmation for the dates you have requested.
ALL bookings are provisional until the deposit is received.
Deposits are non- refundable in the event of cancellation
If the deposit is not received within 3 working days we will assume that the provisional booking is no longer required.
3. Balance of the hire charge is due 6 weeks prior to arrival
If the balance is not received within this time frame the owners reserve the right to hire the caravan to someone else. Bookings taken with less than 6 weeks remaining can only be accepted if payment is made in full within 3 working days.
4. The hirer shall also pay £100 refundable damage bond. This bond is FULLY REFUNDABLE at the end of the hire period and returned within 5 days of the departure date. The caravan owners reserve the right to withhold some or the entire bond and/or bill the hirer for the additional cost of:
a) Replacing and/or repairing all damage
b) All breakages
c) Charge for deep cleaning the caravan and/or removing stains or replacing as new. ALL BREAKAGES, DAMAGE AND STAINS WITHIN THE CARAVAN MUST BE PAID FOR
d) THE HIRER MUST INFORM THE CARAVAN OWNERS WITHIN 12 HOURS OF ARRIVAL ALL DEFECTS, INVENTORY SHORTAGES AND/OR BREAKAGES. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN YOU, THE HIRER BEING RESPONSIBLE.
CANCELLATIONS
5. In the event of a cancellation, the hirer must confirm via email.
6. Deposits are non refundable in the event of a cancellation.
7. No refund will be made to the hirer whose hiring has commenced and who vacates the caravan for any reason, including an emergency at home.
8. Once the balance has been paid owners will at their discretion only consider refunds subject to the time remaining to the holiday and a replacement booking being obtained. Hirers are advised to take out their own holiday cancellation travel insurance.
GENERAL BOOKING CONDITIONS
9. Bookings will only be accepted from hirers who are 21 years of age and above. No hen parties/stag do’s or large same sex groups. Couples and families only to a MAXIMUM of 8 people including children.
10. Only the persons named on the booking form may stay at the caravan. Over occupancy is not allowed and outside the terms of hiring the caravan.
11. ALL changes to a booking are only allowed with prior written agreement from the caravan owners.
12. The hirer is responsible for the conduct of ALL persons named on the booking form.
13. The hirer agrees that all persons named on the booking form shall be with you (the hirer) during your hire period of the caravan. This is for security and emergency reasons.
14. Any changes to the booking form must be notified to the owners at the earliest opportunity and should be prior to the commencement of your stay.
15. The hirer must give access to the owners as and when required including their agents.
16. The caravan owners reserve the right to refuse any booking without obligation to give / and or reserve the right to terminate any booking for whatever reason and at their discretion.
UPON COMMENCEMENT OF HIRE
17. The holiday caravan may be occupied from 3pm onwards on the first day of hiring.
18. In the case of maintenance problems the hirer shall contact the owners. The hirer must not attempt DIY repairs. Then rule 4 will apply.
19. By agreement with the owners 2 well behaved dog is acceptable. It must never be left alone in the caravan.
20. Smoking is strictly not allowed in the caravan. An ash tray will be provided for outdoor use only. It is the responsibility of the hirer to extinguish cigarettes/ cigars etc and to clean the ashtray.
21. The caravan should be left in a clean and tidy condition. It will then be inspected following your departure If it is not then rule 4 shall apply.
22. The owners do not accept responsibility for loss or damage to hirers property and/or accidents, injuries, illness disease arising from the hire of the caravan. Including any acts of god or extreme weather conditions.
23. The caravan must be vacated by 10am on the last day of hiring and left ready for the owners to inspect.
24. No prams/pushchairs are to be used within the caravan as this could cause damage.
25. If you are asked to vacate the caravan / holiday park by the caravan owners or the agents of the holiday park for any reason whatsoever no monies shall be refunded.
26. Entertainment passes are NOT included in the hire price. They can be purchased separately by the hirer from the holiday park reception upon arrival.
27. Strictly NO BBQ’s on the decking or near to the caravan.
28. In the event you are unable to commence your holiday due to lockdown as a result of Covid 19 a refund or reschedule of your holiday shall apply.
**PLEASE NOTE** Once the hirers deposit has been paid to the owners the hirer has agreed to the full terms and conditions as above, as applicable at the time of your booking and holiday.
This does not affect the hirers statutory rights.
CARAVAN INFORMATION
1. There are basic cleaning products available. Washing up liquid, dishcloth, tea towels, oven glove, kitchen spray, toilet cleaner, mop, hand soap, 2 toilet rolls, shower/bathroom cleaner,
2. An inventory is included in our file.
3. A welcome pack is provided for that “get the kettle on” moment. Please check contents of what is provided for allergies.
4. Towels are not included so you need to bring your own.
5. Heating is via Hot air heating and a gas fire. The caravan is well insulated and very warm.
6. The cooker is gas oven, hob and grill with an electric extractor fan.
7. There is an undercounter fridge with ice box.
8. There is a large TV/DVD in the lounge and some dvd’s and books are available. It has hdmi points for playstations.
9. Travel cot and high chair available on request.
10. There is strictly no smoking in the caravan. An ashtray is provided for outside use and cigarettes etc should be carefully put out and the ashtray emptied.
11. Please turn off heating and lighting when you go out. The caravan is well insulated and soon warms up.
12. Could guests please refrain from wearing dirty outdoor shoes inside the caravan.
13. Please be careful with food and drink. Any additional cleaning needed to remove stains will be charged for.
