Description

Description

Our lovely modern caravan is situated on Iris Lane, Greenacres, Porthmadog. It is a little home from home fully equipped with pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, cups glasses and everything you would need for a comfortable stay.

It is a 2 bedroom caravan that sleeps 6. - 1 double room, 1 twin room and a double sofa bed in the lounge. The caravan is double glazed and has gas central heating and a gas fire. this makes it cosy all year round
The TV is tuned into Freeview so you have a number of channels to choose from.
Outside table and chairs are included along with a small BBQ .
We supply duvets and pillows. You can bring your own bed linen, you can rent it from Haven. This caravan is not suitable for 6 adults.
We have added a few extras for your convenience:
- Iron
- Ironing board
- Hairdryer

The caravan is situated close to the shops and all site amenities and a very short walk to the beautiful blue flag beach (Black Rock Sands) - you can also drive onto this beach via the gates at the end of the lane just outside of the Greenacres site.

The Greenacres onsite facilities are very good, and not too 'overbearing':
- Swimming pool
- Outdoor splash area
- Crazy Golf
- Mash & Barrel bar/restaurant
- The Marine bar & restaurant serves drinks and food and offers entertainment for all the family both day and night
- Papa Johns and the fish and chip shop are on site
- There is a launderette on site too
- The hire shop hires bikes and family bikes for 4 and 6 people to ride together
- There is a supermarket on site, plus Lidl, Aldi and Tesco are in Porthmadog town

Passes are required for entrance to some of the on site entertainment facilities. We can help you source them or you can buy weekly passes when you arrive. Again this is your choice

Greenacres is at Morfa Bychan, about 2 miles away from Porthmadog on the beautiful Llyn Peninsula in Wales.
The site is next to and has direct access to the outstanding Black Rock Sands beach, which is very large and backed by sand dunes. It is a very safe flat beach and cars have permitted access to drive onto the beach.
The area is on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park and has fabulous mountain views and scenery, with extensive walking/hiking (including the Wales Coast Path), mountain biking, and climbing.
Along the Llyn Peninsula are a series of picturesque small towns, each with it's own beach and good places to eat e.g. Criccieth, Abersoch, Aberdaron. In the other direction are Portmeirion, Harlech and Barmouth, again with lots of things to see and do, including beaches, castles, good food, craft shops, great walks, boat trips etc. Most of these towns are also joined up by the scenic Cambrian coastal railway.
From Porthmadog itself there is the historic mountain railway, which takes visitors up into the mountains to Blaenau Ffestiniog and the slate mines.

It is such a great area to spend a holiday. So much to do and explore both on site and surrounding areas.

Hi I Jade, Glad you had a great time and thanks for the review. We are always looking to improve so feedback is good. Is there anything we could have done to prove accomodation and caravan facilities as you marked then as an 8 (which is very good). We would like to improve if we can. Many thanks, Sharron Sharron
