Hi My names Kirsty, and as a family we own 4 caravans. 3 are based on Haven Weymouth Bay and 1 based on Shorefield Forest Edge. Whilst I’m not busy with the caravans, I spend my time with my children and our four legged children! Description

Our beautiful deluxe pet friendly 2 bedroom caravan, sleeps up to 6 guests.

1 Double Bedroom with en suite
1 Twin Bedroom
1 Double pull out sofa bed (which can be used by adults and children)

Shorefield Forest Edge is a peaceful, family friendly and pet friendly site. The only amenity on Forest Edge is a small secure playground for children and table tennis area. Its lovely for young and older children to ride bikes and scooters around and a superb location for dog walkers especially with the park leading on to Hurn Forest.

The clubhouse and amenities are located on Oakdene Forest Park which is a 2 minutes drive or 10 minute walk through Hurn forest.

The main site (Oakdene Forest Park) has both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool with water slide, Amusement Arcades, Crazy golf, Restaurant and bar, Pet friendly area for the restaurant and bar, Entertainment bar with lots of shows, Fully equipped gym, “Go active” activities, Laundrette, Supermarket, Archery, Costa coffee and Free WIFI throughout the park.

We are only 12 miles from Bournemouth Seafront, and 20 minutes from Peppa pig world is just 20 miles. There is lots of forestry and a country park just a few minutes drive.

Entertainment passes for sister site can be purchased on arrival or via link in check on email.

We can not guarantee amenities be open and have availability.

* please note there is a pylon located next to the caravan which does not affect the use of the caravan. It provides a larger grassed area and space from other caravans.

Would highly recommend a stay here. The caravan site is small but in a lovely location and the caravan had everything we needed. It was easily spacious enough for a family of 4 and one dog! The wrap around veranda which was fully enclosed was perfect for knowing the dog and children were safe. The location was perfect. A forest on your doorstep and only a 10 minute drive to a great beach. The larger camp offers a lot more facilities if that is what you are looking for. The WiFi was quite temperamental for us during our stay, but this did not detract from our stay and actually meant better quality time as a family. The caravan was fully equipped with everything you could need and communication with the owner was timely and informative. If you are looking for a quiet get away, in tranquil comfort we would definitely recommend a stay here, great value for money.

Absolutely awesome. The site itself is beautiful and quite and in a lovely area. The cabin we stayed is was stunning it looked great and was spotlessly clean. It was a lot bigger than expected with a nice double bed in the master bedroom. And 2 single beds in the 2nd bedroom. The beds were more than comfortable enough and gave us a good nights rest. The bathroom has a great shower hot and powerful. The kitchen has all we needed including microwave and full cooker. Decent size tv with free view channels. The cabin has access to free wi-fi so all you really need. The best part for us was the veranda / balcony that went round the cabin it was fully enclosed to great to let the dogs on knowing they are safe while you relax. We had a damage deposit returned into our bank within 24 hrs of returning Honestly I can not recommend the place enough it was much more than we expected. We really enjoyed our stay couldn't have asked for more. The cabin was truly beautiful and the people we rented from couldn't help us enough when we couldn't work out how to turn the gas on for the cooker. ( only to be told its main supply and we needed to do nothing lol ) A bonus as well is a Very local is a pub called the fox and hound. The food is fantastic especially the mixed grill and fish and chips lol. Oh and of you have a sweet tooth like me the bakewell tart is to die for.
