Our van isn’t far from the mere, which is a lovely walk, if you carry on down the road after our caravan, you will pass some bins and there is an archway, walk through that where you will come out to fields and a lake, and if you turn left after the arch way you can take a 10-15 minute walk which will take you to Stanley park, the model village and also Blackpool zoo.
We like to just walk around the zoo fence and have a sneak peak at most of the animals - lions, tigers and the elephants.
If you get stuck for things to do, don’t hesitate to ask me I’ll advise the best I can.
