The caravan is based on a level road which leads directly to the beach, clubhouse and bar (under 3 minute walk). Also on site they have a swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym, arcade, outside play area, and Nisa shop. Most supermarkets also deliver to site (Waitrose, Morrisons, Tesco & Sainsbury etx).
The beach at Challaborough is a Blue Flag beach with daily Lifeguard cover in the summer season. There is plenty to do with kayaks, paddle boards, wetsuits available to hire on site, they also run Guided Tours. Surfing and bodyboarding is also very popular.
This is a modern brand new 2021 model caravan with 3 bedrooms (1 x double & 2 x twins), and also has a pull out bed in the lounge so can sleep 8. There is one bathroom with shower and also a separate 2nd toilet.
All bedrooms have plug sockets and USB outlets. It has gas central heating and parking for one car outside on tarmac in a reserved space.
Wifi is available in the Waterfront Bar and Venue. Additional Wifi may be available in other areas, but this cannot be guaranteed and may come with an additional cost.
Duvets and pillows are provided, but guests are asked to bring their own towels, tea towels, washing up bits, duvet covers, sheets and pillowcases.
Wrap around gated child decking has been added to the front and side, with steps to the front and patio furniture is also provided. When sunny, the side is sunny in the morning and front elevation which is South facing gets the sun in the afternoon / evening, so if you prefer sun, or shade there is an option for you. The patio doors from the lounge open directly on to the decking.
We have Freesat fitted with lots of free to view channels.
We also have a selection of board games available for those rare rainy days.
Entertainment passes are available to purchase from Parkdean Reception which gives you access to the Swimming Pool and Clubhouse.
Cost of the passes are as follows,, 2022 prices, so may have increased:-
Off Peak - Adults £9.95 and Children (over 2 years old) £6.95
Peak Season - Adults £11.95 and Children (over 2 years old) £7.95
These prices are 2021 and therefore may increase slightly for the 2022 season
The Waterfront Bar serves food and drink all day and does not require passes.

There is plenty to see in the local area, if you want to explore
• Burgh Island is a tidal island which you can see from Challaborough, you can either walk the coast to Bigbury or drive a short distance to the car park. The island is accessible at low tide via a small strip of sand, which at high tide is completely covered, leaving you to return via the Sea tractor. The hotel itself is is famous as Agatha Christie used to write from the art-deco hotel and was known for its pirates and smugglers. You can walk around the island and there is an old pilchard lookout at the top and also the Pilchard Inn if you fancy a drink, or bar snack. Challaborough nestles on the Southwest coastpath.

Deposit is required on booking and the balance to be paid 2 weeks before arrival please.
4 Night Monday - Friday breaks and also 3 Night Friday to Monday breaks are available. Check out by 10am on final day and check in at 4pm please, to give time for cleaning. During the main summer holiday period 7 night breaks are the only option.
