Bank House Farm is a family run business, we provide Self Catering accommodation and camping in a small village 6.5 miles outside Penrith, 1.2 miles from the village of Langwathby. A Short drive to Ullswater, Keswick, Grasmere and Ambleside the heart of the Lake District. We are located directly on the c2c route at the bottom of the Pennines before the big climb's up to Hartside pass. This business is also run alongside our Equestrian Centre.

Long Meg and her Daughters.
One of the finest stone circles in the North of England, the circle has a diameter of about 350 feet, the second biggest in the country. Long Meg is the tallest of the 69 stones, about 12 feet high, with three mysterious symbols, its four corners facing the points of the compass and standing some 60 feet outside the circle.
