About the owner

Welcome to our smallholding, after a number of years Visiting Wales and staying with our friends, we decided that we wanted to live here. So we sold our property and bought gwarallt bungalow. A lonely little property. With outstanding views over the valley's and mountains beyond. We farm a small herd of beef cattle. And our two Welsh cob ponies plus our sheep dog meggie. We have a lovely static caravan in its own garden erea, that takes full advantage of the views. You can watch the sunset rise and see our red kites fly in to see what we have put out for them to eat. Only a short drive to the seaside, were you can take a dip in the sea. There's plenty of places around to visit, that's why we love this part of Wales. Peace and quiet. Hear the birds sing and enjoy the scenery. And wish to share it with everyone.

Had a great week ay Gwarallt Bungalow caravan, a top place to explore the wider area. Janet and Alan were great hosts, with loads of tips for the area, and Meg the dog loves a bit of fuss. Although the caravan is an older model, but don't let that put you off, it has a nicer layout than many modern vans, and was spotlessly clean. On arrival, all the things you could need were there including towels and bedding. Caravan is on a smallholding in it's own beautiful garden, with marvellous views over the local hills and valleys. Red Kites soar overhead most days, and it's just a relaxing place to chill. Loads of great places to visit nearby. Top nearby beaches include Penbryn, Llangranog, Mwnt and a little further, Pendine, all with coastal walks and many with caves or rockpools. Walk from Penbryn to Llangrannog on coast path is beautiful, if a little strenuous (prob not for under 10's esp. on hot days). Dolacouthi Roman Gold Mine is a must, though again prob not fer small kiddies, though dogs are allowed on the tour (you must book ahead, places on tours are limited). NT house Llanerchaeron is deffo worth a visit and is very close by (look out for Thomas the tabby cat in the garden...loves a bit of fuss) . Aberaeron is a few miles up the coast and is a bit of a foodie hot spot with a lovely harbour. Aberystwyth is great for a mooch, and restaurant Medina does cheap lunch deals before 4pm (good food too). On the whole, we had a top time. Loads of nearby places of interest, and the caravan is comfortable and in a great spot. Hope to visit again maybe next year.

Lovely hosts and an absolutely beautiful spot overlooking the countryside with lots of birds of prey. Used the caravan as a base to explore west wales, from St David’s, the Pembrokeshire coastal paths and up to Aberystwyth.

Our time at the caravan was amazing, it has all the comforts of home and has a good amount of space and facilities too. The view is also wonderful, its breathe taking, the hosts (Janet and Alan) are wonderful, they are kind and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this caravan and I would definitely book again. We had a lovely 10 night stay at the caravan. Janet and Alan are a lovely couple, the caravan is on a working farm, Alan is working to build a cattle shed for his cows and horses for shelter. The Caravan is on a lane with the Black Lion pub about a 10 min drive away. The Sunday lunch was lovely and would recommend. The Caravan is in a field with a great view of mountains all around, it is fully equipped with everything needed for a self catering break away.

Thank you ,it was wonderful having you here with us for your holiday, Loved the cheese and pies, hope you enjoy your blackcurrants ,we hope to see you again.
