Description

Hello ! welcome to your holiday in our lovely generously sized (12 x 39) Victory Vermont Vue. Sited in the very popular Golden Sands Holiday Park at beautiful Dawlish Warren on the English Riviera.

The accommodation comprises:

Lounge with wrap around comfy sofa which also converts to a double sofa bed, pillows and duvet provided.
Coffee table and wall units, LCD Smart tv with freeview and access to most streaming platforms. Dining area with table and four chairs. Lounge opens out onto private enclosed decking area with super country views and sunny all afternoon (sun not guaranteed but likely, sorry !)

Decking has dining table, seating for 6 and two parasols.

Fully equipped roomy kitchen with electric double oven ( main oven is fan) and induction hob, full height integrated fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, cooking and dining utensils etc. Added caravan bonus dishwasher !
Slow cooker, picnic bag with ice packs. Coffee pod machine, Newly added washing machine for small loads.
There is a huge Sainsburys five mins walk away for all your self catering needs or visit the newly re furbished clubhouse restaurant a couple of minutes walk away.

Main bedroom has en-suite WC with basin and has a king sized bed, pocket sprung mattress with memory foam topper, very comfy. Pillows and duvet provided.
There is plenty of wardrobe and storage space including dressing table with hairdryer. TV to watch in bed.

Second bedroom has twin singles with wardrobe space. These can be put together to form another double bed if required. Small table shelf with mirror.
Pillows and duvets provided.

Bathroom has a walk in shower, WC, basin and most unusually for a caravan, has a BATH! (chillax in here once kids in bed)

Double glazed, gas mains central heating, FREE unlimited WI-FI included.

Superb sandy beach just a twenty minute walk from this home, safe for children with lifeguards. If you like your own bit of beach just walk to the left side along the sand dune paths in the nature reserve to the quiet end and sit and watch cormorants fishing for their lunch. There are several pubs and restaurants here and beach shops galore, mini fun fair for the kids, and go carts too. There is a lovely country park just up the road with tracks and trails for walkers or bikes.

On site there is an outdoor pool which has a swim channel to the indoor pool ! (Pre-booking and pass required for this) Clubhouse with restaurant and bar, childrens' club, shop and launderette. There is a large fishing lake on site too. PLEASE NOTE some additional activities are payable to the park.

The train station is also at the beach where you can catch a ride to Exeter for shopping, or go to the amazing National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth. Also, you can get to Paignton and ride the steam train to Dartmouth, or visit the zoo.

We are only 25 mins drive from Dartmoor National Park with it's famous Tors. A must visit while you're here if you love nature.

PLEASE NOTE WE CANNOT SUPPLY BED LINEN AND TOWELS, PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR OWN. WE DO SUPPLY DUVETS AND PILLOWS FOR ALL BEDS.

We booked a little last minute for the coronation weekend and we found prices through the roof (for obvious reasons) and then we found this wonderful delight. We frequent Devon and Dawlish in particular on a reasonably regular basis and this caravan was by far the nicest caravan we have EVER stayed in. It had everything and beyond to make our weekend away so relaxed especially in comparison to booking through a company - the added extras this van has, it was like a home from home. The location on site was very close to the entertainment/pool etc so perfect with younger children! (The site itself is rather hilly but that isnt something that can be helped but just incase someone has mobility issues - we had a car so we were fine!) Kevin and Sally were great at communicating when I have emailed with a couple of enquiries and we couldn't have asked for a nicer weekend. Their attention to detail such as the most helpful information book full of leaflets about the local area was the icing on cake. It really is the little added extras that makes for such a blissful stay. It was great value for money too. We couldn't recommend them highly enough and will definitely be back in contact next time we are due to stay in Devon!

Myself, my wife and our 3 children had a lovely time during our stay in Golden Sands. Our caravan was spotless and perfectly situated near the restaurant, entertainment, swimming and reception. The facilities in the caravan were spot on, it had every single thing that was needed! The owners of our caravan are very friendly and very helpful, we loved the Dawlish area. Definitely a tick from us!

We have had a wonderful time. Your caravan is immaculate , probably the best we have stayed in. Lots of thoughtful touches. Comfy beds. Our youngest is autistic with sensory issues. We found the caravan in immaculate condition included with all mod cons. Welcoming booklet was very informative including details of local excursions. Sally and Kevin were especially helpful with an enquiry I raised during our stay. I would highly recommend and would not hesitate to use again.

Gorgeous little holiday home.. spotless throughout, lovely made beds with fluffy white towels, owners really nice and even brought us a fan as we stayed the hottest week of the year ha! Lovely balcony overlooking country side.. so peaceful, nice to sit outside with a glass off wine and watch the sun go down..camp site was really good for the kids too.. thanks so much kevin and sally!

Very good stay. We come Monday with our daughter and she loved it from begining especially patio where she enjoy playing. Area is very quiet and good for families. Static was very clean and all what we need was provided. Bed comfy and enough space for cot bed for our little daughter . Comunication with owners very efficient and Quick. We will definietly come back one day. Thanks for lovely stay
