Our first family holiday with our new family dog Arnie, this is a lovely caravan and as the camp ground is close to the beach; it is ideal for those with young children and dogs.
The caravan was lovely and clean, beach chairs were available, along with a wind breaker too. On-suite toilet and sink to the master is a nice touch, it meant we didn't have to disturb the kids or dog. Kids room was plenty big enough for your two ( 5 and 8) and plenty of room in the living area for the dog to sleep in his create.
Love the built in Bluetooth stereo system, kids had a little disco; it was warm on the cold days without needing the heating, but the heating is lovely touch for the kids, when they got caught out in the rain with the dog :)
Across the road from the Golden Sands camp site and opposite Holivans camp site you will find the walk to the beach via the dunes, its lovely and easy to find, a quick 5 minute walk and with the caravan being so close to the camp facilities it is quick and easy to pick up bits and pieces you may have forgotten :)
Dog friendly beach is ideal, the North promenade allows dogs off lead and the rest of the beach you need to you puppers on lead, excellent clean beach and the sand train was a lovely addition to get from one side to the next (dogs not allowed).
The on-site shop is reasonably priced and the on-site pizza take out is excellent for those days when you just don't want to cook.
Highly recommend for young families, those with dogs, without either too :)
