Dear Customer
Thank you for hiring our Caravan. Please take time to read the conditions of hire on this page as it is important that you comply with these. Failure to supply us with any documents or information required may cause the rental to be cancelled. It is a condition of the rental agreement that all parties are satisfied with arrangements made and the customer is responsible for any financial loss if the agreement is not adhered to in full.
All restrictions in place due to Covid must be respected, as such, the caravan is classed as self catering for the purpose of any hire with no access to any facilities implied or offered. However, during your stay it is possible that various venues become available. Please ask staff on site.
Hire period starts at 3:00pm and ends at 10:00am, failure to depart by this time will incur a charge of £30/hour. Delays due to travel problems or weather are the responsibility of the hirer and cannot be claimed against the owner. There is an access ramp to caravan, this does not imply that the caravan has been modified for disabled use.
All damages and faults must be reported immediately and accurately. This is to ensure that repairs or replacements can be effected as soon as possible. This also ensures that the next occupants are not inconvenienced and everyone can fully enjoy their holiday. Malicious damage will be claimed civilly. Only persons named can enjoy the facilities, passes are obtained from reception and are not included in the hire. Same sex group bookings are not allowed, exceptions to this arrangement are family members with proof. Oldest member of party must be over 25. Pets, smoking and vapes are not allowed in caravan and will forfeit deposit for extra cleaning. Maximum occupancy is 6 people including infants, overcrowding will cancel booking. All guests must be named prior to commencement of hire period. Quilts, pillows and linen are provided. Towels for swimming are not provided. The caravan will be clean at start of hire, please look after it and treat with respect. Cleaning charges are at the discretion of the owner, if additional cleaning is required then the deposit is forfeit.
Deposit is paid on booking and is used as a breakage/damage bond, to be returned one week after booking ends. This is in addition to the hire charge and is handled separately. Balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to start date. If the balance is not paid by this time, and no reason is given, the deposit and booking is lost, we do not send reminders. Cancellations prior to hire will forfeit deposit, more than 4 weeks before hire date will lose 50% of full hire charge, less than 4 weeks before hire date will lose full hire charge. Holiday insurance is advised as it is not included.
One vehicle can be parked outside of the caravan, subject to parking space availability, subsequent vehicles must park in main car park. Restrictions on certain vehicles such as off road motorbikes, vehicles over 3.5 tonnes and electric powered vehicles are in place. Vehicles requiring charging facilities cannot be catered for and if they need to be plugged into caravan then an additional charge of £20 will be made. Vehicles are only covered by insurance issued to that vehicle and are not the responsibility of caravan or park owners. The registration and make of vehicle must be stated on booking.
Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and offenders will be told to leave the site. No refund will be issued in this instance. There is no redress and the park or caravan owner has the final say. Entry to the caravan or facilities is at the discretion of owner and park. Haggerston Castle administration may supersede these terms and conditions at any time.

On receipt of the information requested, and payment in full, you will receive an email from the park.
This email will contain your booking reference to gain access to the park.
You must be able to show this booking reference to security staff on the gate.

The area around Haggerston is fantastic, Berwick in particular has many places to visit and can be an affordable alternative to some facilities on the park.
