Our lovely caravan had had one careful lady owner (ok, a lovely family) when we bought it. It was, and is, rarely let so it is in immaculate condition and well looked after. My ex-partner and I let it at specific times to fit in around our childcare responsibilities.
The caravan has a lovely secluded garden area with seating and toys. It is in a quiet and peaceful setting with a short walk across fields to the beach. You may see bunnies hopping by outside as you sit on the sofa, or a squirrel tucking in to a nut through the kitchen window.
Weymouth's sandy beaches, the Jurassic coastline and Chesil Beach are all on our doorstep with the Island of Portland close by and the stunning scenery of West Bay (Broadchurch), Lyme Regis and Durdle Door all a short drive away. We are locals to Weymouth and can give you lots of ideas for things to do and places to go so please ask if you are going to be staying in our van.
This is our part-time home so we do not allow any parties and expect our guests to leave our caravan as they found it. We ask for a £100 deposit to secure the booking, with the remainder to be paid 4 weeks prior to arrival. We also ask for a separate 'care and respect' bond, which will be returned when the van has been inspected after departure. Because it is our part-time home, we think it is also a very comfortable home-away-from-home for our guests.
Please note that beds have a mattress protector, but no pillows, duvets or other bedding is provided. You will also need to bring your own towels and tea towels. There is a shower room with toilet and another room with a toilet. We provide some basics to make life a bit easier for you, including toilet rolls, hand wash, washing up liquid and condiments. The kitchen is well equipped with crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. There will be coffee, tea, sugar, fresh milk and ice cubes when you arrive.
