THINGS TO DO
St. Andrews is an ideal holiday location for a short break or your main holiday. There are loads of things to do and see around St Andrews and the East Neuk of Fife. From the university which was built in 1413 and is the oldest university town in Scotland (and where Prince William met Kate!) to St Andrews Links and historic Old Course - the home of golf, where golf has been played for over 600 years. The town centre is only a 15-minute walk and there is a wide variety of shops, cafes, pubs & restaurants to visit as you stroll through the cobbled streets and alleyways. There are many attractions to keep you busy. Visit the aquarium or West Sands made famous by the film Chariots of Fire or explore the ruins of the cathedral.
The East Neuk is probably the most scenic part of Fife and an opportunity to experience the unique bygone atmosphere of its' many fishing villages such as Crail, Anstruther & Pittenweem which are easily accessible by car. It is also the central point of the popular 'Fife Coastal Path' that stretches between the Forth Road and Tay Road Bridges.
For the golfers there is the obvious attraction of the 7 courses of St Andrews Links including the iconic Old Course host to The Open every 5 year but there are also many other fantastic courses in the East Neuk including Kingsbarns, Crail, Elie & Lundin Links.

Family With Older Children

Date of stay - 25 Oct 2021 - 29 Oct 2021

Absolutely loved this caravan. Immaculate with everything you need for a comfortable family holiday. The layout is the best I've ever had in a caravan and worked perfectly for our family with older children. The views are spectacular (even when the weather isn't so good) and in a brilliant location walking distance from the town. Anthea and Hugh were great hosts, gave us all the information we needed and even left us a really thoughtful welcome pack. We will most definitely return.

Had a fantastic stay in this caravan. Located in a quieter part of the caravan park with stunning sea views and views of St. Andrews. Short walk to the beach and the site restaurant/bar. Made use of the fabulous decking and comfortable furniture for outdoor eating and just enjoying the stunning view. Spotlessly clean, very modern interior and bed linen and towels all felt very luxurious. Well equipped with good quality goods. It has everything you would need and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. I would recommend this caravan and I plan to return as soon as I can.

Thanks very much for your kind feedback Heather, it’s very much appreciated. So glad you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to welcoming you back sometime soon. Anthea & Hugh

Family With Young Children

Date of stay - 17 Aug 2021 - 21 Aug 2021

We really enjoyed our stay. The caravan was lovely and perfect for a few nights away with our two young kids. It’s a short walk to the East Sands beach and close enough to walk into the centre of St Andrews. The caravan comes equipped with everything you might need and Hugh & Anthea were more than happy to arrange a high chair for us. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough!

Thanks for your kind feedback Struan, glad you had a lovely break and hope to welcome you back again in the future.
