Waterside, Paignton - Holiday Accommodation 13306

Stayed here with mum and and our pooch Alfie. Fab caravan, spacious, clean and tidy. Very comfy beds so a good night sleep. Everything you need is all there in the caravan. The view from the living area window is amazing, you can see right across the site and the train that goes by along the top. The location is fabulous, short walk to the beach with a couple of pubs along the way and there's also a bus stop right outside the holiday park going in either direction. Couldn't fault the caravan or the holiday park. A great stay all round!

We arrived here for Easter holidays with my 10 year old son and 2 dogs and we was very happy with the caravan. The caravan was spotlessly clean the cleaner done a great job! The beds was super comfortable, the caravan had everything you needed and more. We've already been in contact to book the caravan for next year as we enjoyed it that much! If you stay here you won't be disappointed.

Was a fabulous van with some really nice extra touches. Bedding and cuddle blankets were fab. Wifi was a plus too! Hubs particularly liked there being an actual sharp knife! Wiuld definitely use again!

We have recently stayed in this caravan and really enjoyed it. As others have said it is a slightly older van but please do not let this put you off at all. This caravan has everything you need. When we arrived the caravan was very clean and tidy and a gift was waiting for when we arrived. Communication with the owner was fantastic. The caravan is located in an ideal place in between two excellent beaches (Goodrington and broadsands). I am looking forward to booking again next year. Overall a great caravan and lovely holiday.

Myself and a friend (and my dog) were extremely impressed with our stay and the cleanliness of the caravan. The owners were really approachable with any questions I had before our arrival and, when we arrived, they had left a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates for us which was a really lovely touch and went down very well! The mattresses on the beds seemed to be new and were very comfortable. All utensils were there (except tongs), including washing up cloths with liquid and hand soap. The only thing missing from the kitchen was an oven glove and that's probably due to COVID, as you need to take your own towels (take shower mat and hand towels for the toilets). They also had 2 comfortable garden chairs for sitting outside (no table yet). The van was in quite a quiet spot with a view of the railway line for the steam train. We didn't use the facilities on site, but there is a pool, pub and children's park. This caravan is on a level plot compared to some of the other vans which were on quite a steep hill. There were good walks from the site along the coastal path to Goodrington (steep steps to climb!). There's also a brilliant bus service (stops a few yards from the site entrance) where the £5 ticket allows you to jump on and off at different destinations all day. Don't forget to do the steam train and River Dart Cruise! This is a good all rounder site for walkers, sightseers and families.

We had an amazing stay at Waterside caravan park. The caravan was so clean and tidy with some lovely homely touches to set it apart from your general hired caravan. It is in a nice location as well not to high up the hill but not on the flat so you have the best of both worlds considering the site is very hilly. Perfect for walking as it's two minutes from the SW coast path. Would defiantly stop here again and thanks for an amazing holiday.

We were so pleasantly surprised with this caravan! When we arrived we found the caravan spotlessly clean and smelling beautiful! The owners had left some wine and chocolates to welcome us, with a little teddy for our little one! Lots of the bits and bobs were brand new, including most of the kitchenware, so despite it being a slightly older caravan, it had a modern feel to it. We really liked the layout of the living space as it was open and spacious and there was plenty of storage. The smart TV was equipped with Netflix and Amazon Prime as well as live TV so there was more than enough choice. There were two toilets which is a bonus when there are lots of you! The beds were comfortable and there was enough space in the double room to fit a small travel cot. There were wardrobes for clothes which could just do with coat hangers. The only other suggestion I would make is perhaps some hooks for keys and a hook on the bathroom door to pop clothes or a towel on. Other than that, I really couldn't fault it! As for the site, it's lovely and relaxed and in a great location. The heated pool was clean (and actually not too cold!) and the staff were friendly. The caravan has a great view of the steam train going past, which my little one absolutely LOVED waving to. Walking under the tunnel, you're greeted with a beautiful view stretching from Brixham, Elberry Cove and then all the way round to Torquay. There are a few benches to enjoy the view and it's definitely worth catching at night time too with the cruise ships and everywhere else lit up. My dad and I did a bit of exploring and managed to get down to Saltern Cove and Waterside Cove but they weren't family friendly routes. We had a lovely holiday and will definitely be booking again! We want to say a big thanks to the owners who were friendly, approachable and couldn't do enough to help!

This was the best Caravan we have stayed in, it had everything we needed and would have to hand at home. The caravan was very clean and felt very homely. Kids 10 & 12 loved the outdoor heated pool and the walk to the beach. Will defiantly be returning as lovely location and owner is 5 star. Thank you for our little short break that was very much needed.

Plenty of space for our extended family, pretty much all we needed in the caravan. Nice comfortable and clean. Owners were very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay..
