About the owner

We have been holidaying in Cornwall for over 21 years, it made perfect sense to us to have a home from home here. We adore the beaches and scenic walks, the culture and relaxed way of life of Cornwall. We have two children, though one is now grown up and family recreational time is important to us. We hope you enjoy your stay. James, Rebecca, and family.

Only 3 miles from the charming seaside port of Padstow. There is so much to see and do in the local area from cycling the beautiful Camel Trail to visiting Cornwall's best-known places like the Eden Project. Padstow (3miles), Newquay (13miles)

The van is situated south-facing. There's a fire and several oil heaters if required. Large smart TV, a selection of DVDs, books, and games. The kitchen area is equipped with a microwave, toaster, fridge, freestanding cooker, and kettle. DVD Player, DAB radio, Iron, Ironing Board, Crockery and Kitchen Utensils, Hoover. The main bedroom has a double bed with cupboard space above and a wardrobe at the foot of the bed alongside a dressing table. The second bedroom has two single beds which are the same as the third bedroom. Both twin rooms have storage space comprising of over-bed cupboards and a single wardrobe in each room.

The van is set away from the clubhouse and restaurant and in a nice quiet location. There is a composite raised deck, with rattan furniture which sits 4 comfortably. There is space to park two vehicles. Outside tap for easy rinsing after a long day at the beach.

It is ideal for couples and families looking for a home from home for their holiday, a great base for exploring this part of Cornwall, a golfing holiday, walking the coast path (much of which is owned by the National Trust), surfing the Atlantic breakers, or maybe just sampling the gourmet delights of Padstow (only four miles away).

A short drive will find you at any one of several beautiful sandy beaches where you have a wide choice of activities to try including surfing or the popular stand-up paddleboarding. If walking is more your style you are within easy reach of the coastal path and with a bus stop in the village you have the freedom to explore other parts of the coast without needing to use your car. The Cornish Arms (our recommended favorite), is a short stroll, and Rick Stein's franchise serves up simple British pub meals in a friendly atmosphere loved by locals and visitors alike.
The local village has various pubs and restaurants. Grocery shop, fish and chip shop. The supermarket is just 10 minutes away.

We use this caravan ourselves and family and hope you will find it homely.

Really great caravan , easy to rent and quick response from owner and they told us all details before our arrival day and gave us all things we needed to know. Easy to get too, very quiet area and very peaceful. Lovely caravan and decking area with seating. Easy to drive too destinations. Shop and cafe , bar restaurant on site and a fish and chip shop down the road 6 mins drive away and Padstow is close by too and takes 24 mins to get to Newquay. Very pleasant and relaxing stay.

My 2 daughters and I stayed here for 7 days, 3 of which were rainy and we never got bored once. Always something to do as the location is perfect! Sights to see and activities in every direction. The site is very clean, quiet, friendly and overall very pleasant. The caravan is very well equipped, a lot of thought has gone into making the stay as homely and as fun as possible having games and dvds for the whole family. We loved our stay here 10/10 did not want to leave. Will return 100%

Thank you for your feedback, we're glad you and your children enjoyed your stay, welcome back anytime :-)

The whole experience staying at this caravan home was excellent, Rebecca was so helpful, even though our booking came at just a few days' notice. It was very easy to find and the directions were simple to follow when entering the park. It was like a home from home, it had one of the best-equipted kitchens we have seen in a van. We did bring our own bedding, but to be perfectly honest we much prefer this. The DAB radio was a lovely touch, especially while relaxing with a glass of wine and we even got a sunny day on the decking in mid-October. It was all so light, fresh, and clean. The kids 7 and 11 both enjoyed the DVDs on offer and as a family, we enjoyed the board games provided. The site itself, was clean and peaceful. The beaches and bays surrounding the park are just 5-10 minutes away and they're all out of this world, but our favorite was Mother Ivys. Padstow was just 10 minutes away including the main supermarket too. The village had everything we needed, the local pubs were cozy and welcoming, which pleased the husband. I would highly recommend this holiday home as not only was it a home from home, it was only a short distance from beautiful beaches and in such a quiet location. We are currently booking again and can not wait to return.

Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. It is our home from home and we try to make it as comfy as possible with all we can. Welcome back anytime :-)
