Top recommended Haven site. Very friendly, clean site.
Lots to do for all.
Lots of walks, walking distance to beach, plus a few other local beaches nearby. Seals and dolphins are often spotted. Lots go crabbing on the beach early morning. There is golf nearby. There is a fishing lake on site (licence needed).
Onsite is a fish shop, restaurant, mini mart, arcades, clubhouse. Children’s activities eg, mini archery, fencing. Bike hire. Other what’s on things to do daily .
Pass needed to be bought from reception on the day of arrival (no option to pre buy).
Pass not needed for restaurant or arcades, fish shop, shop.
There’s a quaint little village outside the site which has a few pubs most sell food all allow dogs in. There’s also a cooperative store , fish shop, butchers, café, post office, etc.
This is one of Havens flagship sites. You really won’t be disappointed.
The site opens from 1st of March until end of November, but all facilities on site are not open until mid March and close end of October but you are allowed to stay
3 Caravans are fully central heated with one having built in heaters.
Parking is outside the caravan on the grass.
Dogs are welcome (no more than 2).
The site is open from March 1st to end of Nov.
However no facilities are open onsite from end of oct or up to mid March. You are still allowed to stay though.
