Me & my husband have just returned from a lovely 3 nights away at Robins nest. The accommodation has everything you need & is well equipped especially the kitchen & it was very spacious. It was in a nice quiet & peaceful area but not far to walk to the main complex. A good base to explore the surrounding areas of the new forest & Bournemouth. Would definitely recommend, hopefully we will return in the future.

Robins Nest was beautifully clean and we were welcomed with everything we needed for a nice cuppa. The accommodation is situated in a lovely secluded area where we could sit in the sunshine and watch the birds and squirrels. We had a lovely relaxing break.

Robins Nest was a delight, clean comfortable and in a nice quiet area. It had everything and more one could want to make a great stay And we never ran out of hot water. The facilities are good at the site we used the pool, steam room lots Entertainment in the evenings I can imagine it would be packed in the hight of season Steve and Karen were very helpful instantly sorting a very minor problem for us Thank you Overall I highly recommend Robins Nest for a comfortable lovey break We look forward to returning especially as we were allowed to bring our small dog.

Lovely accomodation, far too nice to be called a 'caravan'. More like a small flat. The double bedroom even has an en suite extra loo & sink. It is also situated in one of the quietest parts of Oakdene Park. Forest walks are well documented depending on how far you want to go. The club facilities are excellent & the restaurant serves great food. We will definitely return if possible. Thankyou to Karen & Steve for the brief use of your 'Robin's Nest :)

Just got back from a fab break at Oakdene. We stayed in Robins Nest Poppy 29 which is owned by Karen & Steve. Fab hosts and just at the end of the phone if any issues with the caravan/booking! Robins Nest is a lovely caravan and well equipped for a home from home stay. We had a lovely break both on and off site. We wouldn't hesitate to return again. Thanks very much :)

I enjoyed staying here with my 11yr old granddaughter. This is such a nice home and looked after, good, clean homely accommodation with everything you could possibly need. Comfortable beds which is important. Peaceful and serene. Would highly recommend.

Lovely and well presented caravan. A little too cluttered for toddler age so we did need to move things away from our youngest so nothing got broken. Very spacious and much bigger than I thought. Lovely to have an en suite too. Couldn’t work the heating/ fireplace and was very damp inside in the mornings. We woke up and clothes that were dry the day before were damp. Didn’t expect this in august….but it is the UK! ???? Karen was amazing. Was at the end of the phone whenever I had a question before our stay and during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. (We could have done with more bin bags but probably for us to provide anyway.) Absolutely gutted we came home a day too early, convinced I’d selected Monday to Friday on the online calendar but perhaps that automatically meant the booking included the Friday night too. Could have saved myself £100 if I’d known and rectified it at the booking stage! Just gutted as we had such a lovely time.

Overall we enjoyed our stay, however we were unlucky with the cleanliness as apparently they’re regular cleaners weren’t able to clean and we also suffered from very noisy neighbours. The caravan itself is lovely and comfortable, a little cluttered and definitely an excessive amount of air fresheners! Although the site is ‘dog friendly’, you are restricted as to where and what you can do on site with a dog. We weren’t able to see any of the shows as dogs aren’t allowed in there. It’s a good place as a base for the local area and definitely recommend going to Moors Valley for great walks and activities, which is close by.

On arrival we could not have been happier Karen & Steves holiday home is beautiful, very clean, smelt devine & catered for All ages with games, cds, cards etc, set a little further back on the park we had just the right amount of privacy whilst still being able to access the club & pool on foot, there are also so amazing takeaways just a couple of miles up the road & a sainsbury superstore, the only thing missing for us this year was the weather especially after the beautiful sunshine previously had, but we will be back, so the only thing left is to express my extreme thanks & gratitude to Karen & Steve once again & the park & all staff associated, enjoy the rest of your season the Fraser family xx

We went in June 2023 for a short break with our dog, accommodation was nice and clean, smelt nice as we walked in. We loved all the little touches like fresh milk in fridge and a welcome tray to make tea and coffee, and biscuits too. It was nice having the air fryer too. We love just sitting out on veranda that over looked woodland and was nice and quiet as it is right at the back of the site. Beds were very comfortable. Although we went in summer I think it would also be very cosy in winter as it is fully centrally heated. Communication with owners was excellent. We highly recommend.

We’ve just returned from an extremely restful break . The lodge was clean and comfortable, even had some fans for the hot weather we had. The owner was 100% responsive to any questions we had, and also was happy for our family to visit at the weekend and obtained all the passes. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We had an enormous roast dinner on Sunday in the dog friendly part. Also a great idea that you can order food and have it delivered. Fantastic location, we visited Ringwood close by and a lovely morning in Sandbanks\Poole. Our grandchildren loved the pools and the entertainment. Definitely recommend.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this accommodation. The communication with the owners is second to none. Knowing it was my wife’s birthday Karen and Steve left some lovely little extras for my wife which was lovely. The site is great we enjoy spending lazy days by the pool, and then returning back to the caravan you have everything you need, it’s like home from home. Normally going away means lots of washing up, but not in Robins Nest with a built in dishwasher. We were plenstly surprised this year with an addition to the facilities of an air fryer. The lounge has a nice sized TV and games and entertainment are supplied. Each of the bedrooms also has its own TV. I love the addition of lamps that are in the caravan, so the evenings are plesently lit rather than having to have the bright spotlight on. Great Owners! Great Site! Great Facilities! I would 100% recommend. A+++

Robins Nest was an absolute joy to stay at. The caravan was lovely and clean when we arrived and the kids loved the choice of bedding (sausage dogs) Steve was really quick to respond to any questions I had and was really lovely to deal with. In the write up it says about deer in the forest behind and we were really lucky to see a baby deer in the morning which the kids were amazed by. All in all we had a lovely weekend here.

I went to Robins nest with my daughter and her friend. The caravan was lovely and fully equipped and I even had a welcome or of jam and a pint of milk. These touches make all the difference. Had a lovely time staying in this comfortable and very clean 'home from home'. Great location in a quiet setting - it was so lovely to hear the birds singing in the trees when sitting on the veranda. There's a handy shop on site and good food delivered directly to your holiday home. We really appreciated the welcome tray - tea, coffee and biscuits - plus fresh milk in the fridge. The bed was comfortable and we both slept really well. The shower is surprisingly good. Good location for visiting local beaches and the beautiful forest - we recommend Mudeford, Christchurch, Burley and Blackwater Arboretum. Karen and Steve are great - communicated really well and are extremely kind people. We can't wait to return :)

This was our second visit to Robins nest and it was as fantastic as our first visit. The caravan is modern and equipped with all we needed. Comfy beds and a very cosy stay as the weather was wet. Despite this we made full use of all the park had to offer, swimming, kids clubs, the children enjoyed paint a pot and stuff a bear so the rain didn’t dampen our fun. We highly recommend Robins nest to anyone fancying a holiday or short break. Steve and Karen are wonderful owners, extremely helpful and the welcome tea, coffee, biscuits and box of chocolates was lovely to arrive to (there was even milk ready and waiting for us) We fully intend to return every year!

We had an excellent holiday. Different things to do on site and isn’t far from the beach which is a beautiful walk. Karen was on the end of the phone when we needed help, lovely couple and would highly recommend to anyone. We arrived nice and early as the owner said the caravan was cleaned early so we could arrive early which we thought was very kind as we had our 5 year old grandson. On arrival everything was simple and easy, we got the key and the caravan was in immaculate condition with nice smelling clean rooms and bathrooms. There was even an arrival pack of coffees teas and a pint of milk. The owner was on the end of the phone if we needed anything and we did contact them reference the NEST heating system which she sorted out immediately . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the games console, DVD and smart TV was a good touch. Definitely will be coming back again . Thank you very much .

Robins nest is an absolutely fantastic caravan to stay in. I have stayed in many caravans, but this one has just small touches that make it feel like home as soon as you walk in. The sofas are the most comfortable we have experienced for a long time. The owner got back to me in a very timely manner and was there to answer and questions I had. They were extremely accommodating and friendly.

We, in fact were two friends with our 7yr and 14 year old son’s. We arrived at Robin’s Nest to find a beautiful clean, comfortable place to stay. It 100% suited all our needs. We also had one small and one medium dog with us. We swam in the pool, walked in Hurn Forest. We spent the day @ the Bournemouth Air Festival and every evening sat on the terrace listen to background music whilst enjoying some lovely wine from the Lidl down the road. Superb place and holiday. The caravan was clean and very well equipped. Comfortable beds and good shower. The PS3 gaming machine was just brilliant for our 10 year old grandson. Lots of DVD's to use. TVs in both bedrooms. Very good communication with Karen regarding checking in etc. prompt response. Site was very clean, grandsons loved the swimming pool complex. Situated in a quiet part of the park. Never stayed in the New Forest before, but loads to do, beaches only 25 minutes away and lots of Country Parks (free admission). If holidaying in that area again would definitely use Robins Nest.

What a lovely caravan set in a lovely location. We stayed in the caravan from the 15th July to the 22nd July, we couldn't have asked for a better week (the weather was stunning). We spent every day at the outdoor swimming pool with the kids (lots of sun screen, water and fun). The caravan would get quite warm in the daytime, but cool down in the evening. After a busy day at the pool, or excursions we would head down to the club house in the evening for a spot of Bingo and kids entertainment, then come home to the caravan to sit out in the evening drinking tea, before the kids headed off to bed. We can't wait to come back!!

We stayed in robins nest at oakdene forest park for our daughters first birthday and had the most wonderful time! we were greeted by not only a super clean and well equipped Caravan but also a card and present for our baby, this was such a lovely, thoughtful touch and started our holiday off with a smile. As I mentioned the caravan was spotlessly clean and had everything we could possibly need, the beds were also extremely comfortable and the caravan was in a great location, we felt so at home during our stay. We would also like to mention how incredible the whole entertainment team were, again making our daughters first birthday extra special. She loved the kids disco and especially loved Cyril and Cybil the squirrels. Oakdene forest park has great amenities, we used the indoor and outdoor swimming pool everyday which was always clean and ate on site most days too, which was lovely and great value, staff were always helpful and greeted us with a smile. We had the absolute best week and we will be back for sure!

Had a fantastic break at Robins Nest, lovely caravan very well equipped. The caravan was at the edge of the forest, watching the deer, whilst eating breakfast on the veranda was a delight. The site was clean and tidy and very safe for our teenagers to wonder around. Great base with lots to do in surrounding area. Definitely worth a visit.

Can not thank the robins nest enough. Beautiful caravan everything was perfect , Steve and Karen we’re fantastic hosts, little added extras was lovely. The park itself was brilliant for all the family , with lots of fun things for our daughter to get involved in and the night entertainment was brilliant. Close by We had fun out & about as well, Moor valley park where we cycled around the woods. Wonderland adventure great rides for kids with an aviation museum right next door to watch planes land and take off. Would highly recommended and will most definitely be back.

We had an excellent time at Robins Nest Leisure. Karen and & Steve were very helpful all the way through booking to checking out. Everything was as said within the booking details and the accommodation was very clean and welcoming. We were lucky enough to be able to check in early as the accommodation was ready and i received a text to say we could go early if needed. After checking in Karen & Steve sent a courtesy text to make sure we were happy and everything was ok. We thought this was great service. The bed was very comfortable! The resort itself is very small. There was a main complex building which has a restaurant (the food was brilliant) and a bar and evening function room with a stage for entertainment. A small swimming pool and gym and an arcade. All the staff were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. We were right on the edge of the forest which was handy as we took a stroll and explored. We will book to come back again for sure. Thank you Karen and Steve

We had a wonderful time staying at Robins Nest Leisure. It was our first visit to a park holiday home. The accommodation was very welcoming and comfortable and cosy. We loved that Karen and Steven made us feel so welcome with a little Christmas gift waiting for us and small touches to makes us feel right at home. Will definitely recommend this type of holiday to any family with young children .
