Our caravan is a cosy home-from-home with everything you need for a family holiday, including bedding, toys, games, books and equipment for babies and young children.
The caravan is in a quiet spot on East Lawn overlooking a little stream and the playing field/outdoor adventure area. It has a private patio area with seating, a barbeque and fairy lights. It also has its own parking dedicated space.
It’s a 2-3 minute walk to main complex where you’ll find the swimming pool, arcade, children’s play area, café bar, live lounge, launderette and shop.
We know how much of a mission it can be to pack when you’ve got small children (we have a 3-year-old!) so we include a lot of the essentials you might need to save you having to bring them from home. These include children’s plates, bowls and cutlery, toddler toilet seat, step, bed guard, travel cot, high chair, baby bath, night light and an audio baby monitor.
The caravan has double glazing and central heating so stays cosy even when it's chilly outside. For when it's warmer (and lighter!) we have blackout blinds, fans for each bedroom and summer weight duvets.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need if you were at home. This includes a fridge with small freezer compartment, microwave, oven, toaster, kettle and all crockery, cutlery and utensils. We also supply all cleaning materials that you might need, as well as washing up liquid, tea, coffee, sugar, tea towels and kitchen roll.
The main bathroom has a toilet, basin and a large shower enclosure with a powerful shower. A children’s toilet seat and step are included if needed. A bath mat is supplied, as are hand towels in both bathrooms and toilet roll. You’ll need to bring your own bath towels and beach/swimming towels.
The living area has a large and comfy U-shaped sofa, 40” smart TV, a Google Nest smart speaker, board games, an electric fire and a dining area which seats six. There is also free, high-speed WiFi throughout the caravan.
Bowleaze Cove is a 10 minute walk away (a buggy friendly route is available) and has a sand/shingle beach, fairground rides, arcades, soft play, watersports and a bar and restaurant.
Weymouth is 5 minutes away by car or bus (there’s a bus stop right outside the park) and has everything you need for a family holiday including a huge sandy beach, shops, arcades, rides, restaurants, watersports and a harbour perfect for crabbing.
Some of our favourite spots locally include Nothe Gardens, the old harbour, Newtons Cove, Lodmoor Country Park, Portland Bill, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. There’s lots of local attractions but our favourites include Monkey World, the Sealife Centre and Pirate Adventure Mini Golf. Mostly though, you can’t beat just playing on the beach!

Now for the boring bits (we’ll supply full terms and conditions prior to booking, but just to give you the main info):
• Haven fun passes are not included in the price but can be purchased online four weeks before you arrive. You can pre-book swimming etc. online as soon as you’ve bought your passes. Prices for 2023 haven’t yet been released but if you get in touch we can give you a rough idea of what they may be based on the 2022 prices. Passes allow you to use the facilities at both Weymouth Bay and Seaview parks including indoor and outdoor pools plus a lazy river, full children's activity programmes and family entertainment plus a large range of outdoor activities.
• The caravan is strictly no smoking
• No pets
• Check in time is 2pm and check out time is 10am. This gives our cleaner time to prepare the caravan for our next guests.
• A £100 care bond is required on payment of holiday balance. This is to cover any damage etc. and will be returned within 7 days of you leaving providing there’s no damage, missing items or excessive cleaning required.
• A £100 non-refundable deposit is payable upon booking.
• The full balance will be due 6 weeks before the start date of your holiday.
• Access is via a key safe to allow non-contact entry and departure and avoid long queues to check-in.
• The caravan is fully compliant with the electrical/gas safety regulations and is equipped with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, a fire extinguisher and a fire blanket.
• No single sex groups
