We had a lovely 2 week holiday at Spey Valley View. The cabin was clean, comfortable, cosy and equiped with everything you needed for your stay, in a peaceful and relaxing location. The view from the cabin and the hot tub were stunning. The canopy over the hot tub gave privacy and kept out the wind and rain. Boat of Garten is in very good location for travelling in all directions. We are regular visitors to the Highlands, but this holiday, we discovered the sleepy fishing villages of Cullin and Portmahomack. The Rockpool Cafe in Cullin is well worth a visit for the fish and chips, the best we have ever tasted and the cakes at Carnegie Cafe in Portmahomack were gorgeous. Thank you to the very friendly and helpful Forbes family who were always on hand via phone or email to answer any questions we had. We would highly recommend Spey View Valley

We had a fantastic stay at Spey Valley View this summer, it honestly couldn’t have been better. The caravan is welcoming and spacious, and the balcony is perfect if the weather is kind! The hot tub was such a treat and helped the tired legs at the end of the day. The communication from the owners was brilliant and the information we received both beforehand and when we arrived was so helpful to help us plan walks and activities and also helped us make the decision to take our dog with us. We will definitely return to Spey Valley View.

Beautiful location and well equipped static van. Lovely and clean with a great hot tub. Wonderful view over quiet fields. On a very quiet wee park within walking distance of a small shop and pub. Has everything you might need - great range of crockery, pans and glasses (and plastic ones for outdoors). Very comfy and cosy. Beds are great and it’s very quiet so it’s a great nights sleep! En-suite in master bedroom and family shower room make it really easy to enjoy a family break. Loved that it is pet friendly - our wee dog loved all the walks round the park and locally. Walked miles. Just a few miles from Aviemore and all that’s there so perfect location. The information booklet provided in the caravan is full of great ideas for local walks and things to do - highly recommend an lochan uaine (the green loch) - we did the full loop (not recommended if you are wary of heights, and has some pretty steep stepped sections) but was beautiful.

The caravan was spotless and absolutely nothing to fault about the whole experience. Everything was explained so well and the communication was great. The owners went above and beyond and even provided recommendations of things to do and see and the caravan was well equipped with everything you could think of. Would definitely recommend to anyone, such a peaceful and relaxing place to go. We will definitely be back and have already recommended to friends and family.

My husband, myself and our wee cocker spaniel dog have just returned from a long weekend break at Spey Valley View. From initial enquiry right through to check-out the owners were outstanding (queries and questions were answered promptly and in a very friendly and professional manner). Nothing, but nothing, was too much trouble for them. The caravan itself is wonderful, scrupulously clean and the owners have really thought of absolutely everything (superb hairdryers, soft and fluffy towels aplenty, quality bedding, DVD’s, books etc etc etc). The hot tub is luxurious - piping hot and the roller blinds that can be pulled down from the roof ensure that the meanest of Scottish weather is kept totally at bay and that the hot tub occupants are kept snug and toasty. The campsite itself is lovely, very well maintained and quiet. The surrounding countryside, mountains and lochs provide you with fantastic walking opportunities and the plentiful supply of cafe’s, pubs and restaurants ensure you are never left hungry. Is a repeat visit on the cards? - it’s a definite and resounding “YES” from us.

We have just returned from a 4 night break at this lovely cabin. From start to finish the owners went out of their way to make sure our stay would be most enjoyable, nothing was too much trouble. The caravan itself is beautiful, and of an exceptionally high standard and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The hot tub is a complete luxury offering breathtaking views. Would definitely recommend and hope to return to this gem of a find.

I have just returned today from a lovely 2 night break at Spey valley view and what a fabulous little find. From booking to check in the owners have been so helpful finding local things in the area to do suggesting restaurants and bars too. The accommodation itself is pristine genuinely spotless with everything you could possibly need for a weekend away provided. Bed was super comfortable too. The Cabin overlooks beautiful scenery and has some lovely bunnies to watch playing away and even had a late night visit from some sheep ????. The hot tub was amazing and loved the fact you could close down the sides and keep the freezing wind off you and it truly was piping hot! Bliss!! The decking area has some lovely lighting for evening time making it the perfect chill spot and I’d imagine during the summer out here is where the cabin comes into its own! We visited Anderson restaurant which is just opposite the entrance to the site which was 10/10+ honestly best meal I’ve eaten in a long time. Also visited the boat which is 5 minutes walk for some refreshments. Drive into aviemore was 10-15min and enjoyed a wander round the shops it has to offer and lunch in the cairngorm hotel was lovely. Also drove through to the vue cinema at Inverness which only took 40min if you’re looking for something to do that’s indoors out the rain there is also a bowling alley there. On route home to Glasgow pit stop at house of bruar is a must! https://www.instagram.com/reel/CZ4Gigzqrmn/?utm_medium=copy_link
