TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKING
Terms and conditions are there to protect the rights of owners and guests. Please read them carefully.
When signing the booking form or paying the full deposit you are confirming that you, the nominated hirer, agree to be bound by all of the following Terms & Conditions, with all other parties concerned.
The Caravan Owner
The agreement is made on the understanding that the Caravan Owner will remain responsible for providing the advertised service. They will be liable to compensate the guests in the event of any failing on their behalf that was not outside their control, in accordance with the terms detailed below.
The owner will ensure that the full holiday cost, including deposit is retained in an account should they be required to provide a full refund.
Who’s coming?
It’s only the people on the booking form who can use our caravan holiday home, facilities and pitches. The total number of people coming with you (including children and babies) mustn’t be more than the capacity of your caravan holiday home which is four. six could be maximum, but this must be discussed with owner first. If you do go over the maximum number, we’ll unfortunately have to turn away any extra people. Visitors are allowed but must not stay over.
Over occupancy invalidates our insurance and you may be asked to leave if more than six people are found in the caravan.
Bookings will only be accepted if the hirer is at least 18 years old. The hirer must also be staying for the duration of the holiday.
No same sex groups (hens and stags)
Pets are allowed at owners discretion.
The maximum number of allowed guests may be lower than the maximum berth of the caravan. This is in order to improve the comfort of the guests and reduce wear.
We want your holiday to be as enjoyable as possible and if you come to the park and you’re unruly or antisocial, you will be told to leave immediately, with no refund.
In the event of cancellation, the deposit will not be refunded.
Bringing a baby
If you need a cot or highchair, you need to ask for it when you book. The travel cot will be assembled for you and we ask that you do not try and disassemble the travel cot on departure; we will do that for you.
When to pay
Book more than 10 weeks before the start of your holiday, and you can either pay the full amount or a deposit. If you don’t pay the balance when it’s due, we will cancel your holiday and you won’t get your deposit back. If you book less than 10 weeks before the start of your holiday, you’ll have to pay in full at the time of booking. The full balance must be paid no later than 6 weeks before the holiday.
The deposit must be paid within 3 days to secure your booking. If payment is not received the holiday will be released without warning.
Full names and ages of all persons staying in the caravan are required at the time of booking.
Security deposits will be refunded within 7 days after the end of your holiday once the caravan has been checked unless a breach of the terms and conditions have been made.
** If you have booked online and paid direct to ukcaravans4hire.co.uk then you will be required to follow their payment terms and conditions.**
Fun Passes
Passes are NOT included in your holiday price; due to the current COVID 19 pandemic passes are not readily available to purchase and are controlled by Haven themselves.
Cancelling your holiday
We would advise that you take out holiday insurance to cover you in the event that you need to cancel your holiday as any monies paid will not be reimbursed.
In the event that we have to cancel your holiday due to circumstances beyond our control or we cannot provide the accommodation then we will refund you in full.
Smoking
There is strictly no smoking of vaporisers, e-cigarettes and tobacco in the caravan. This includes leaning out of windows or standing in the doorway. Please smoke away from the caravan. Anyone breaching these rules may be asked to leave and you may lose your deposit as additional cleaning will be required.
Cutting your holiday short
We hope you’ll have such a great time and that you don’t want to leave. But if you do end up leaving early, we won’t normally offer you a refund.
Personal belongings
Guests remain responsible for looking after their own belongings. Please remember to secure any vehicles or bicycles and try not to leave any valuable items on display. If you bring anything valuable on holiday you should check it is adequately covered by your insurance. We cannot accept any liability for loss or damage to your belongings.
Checking Out
Check-out time is 10.00am. Please remember to close all windows and lock the caravan doors putting the keys back in the key safe. Always leave your pitch and caravan holiday home clean and tidy. Please take your rubbish to the bins and not leave them outside the caravan as this will attract the seagulls. Switch all lights and heating off and ensure windows and doors are closed and secured.
Damages
We hope you don’t have any mishaps during your stay. But if your accommodation is damaged by you or someone in your party during your stay, we have the right to recover the cost of this from you, including any extra cleaning costs. We may also go into your caravan holiday home at a reasonable time (and on reasonable notice) during your holiday to check the state of things. And if there’s an emergency we can come into your accommodation without warning.
Use of Equipment
You are agreeing to the safe use of all equipment inside the caravan. The holiday is self catering so you will need to provide all your own food. (Cleaning products are provided)
Strictly NO BBQ’s to be placed on the decking or anywhere near the caravan or under the caravan as this is a huge fire risk. REMEMBER a caravan will go up in flames in no time at all so please think SAFETY.
All utilities (gas, water, electricity) are included in the overall costs on a fair use basis. Please do not leave the heating on when you go out. Not only is this a waste of energy, it is a fire risk. If you are unsure about using any of the equipment please contact the owner. Do not attempt to use equipment that you are not sure about.
The outdoor furniture is there for your comfort and enjoyment. Please avoid standing on chairs and do not attempt to remove the furniture from the decking. If you are lucky enough to have sunshine then a parasol is provided which is located under single bed in bedroom 2.
