Description

Description

**Under New Ownership** Our 2016 centrally heated double glazed spacious caravan for rent in a prime location on the site is perfect for a holiday in any season.

Our location is only 6 caravans away from Trecco Bay’s blue flag beach and just a short flat walk too from the site’s extensive entertainment and shopping complex. There is a master bedroom with a king-sized bed & en-suite toilet, a twin room, a pull-out double bed in the lounge area, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and toilet. Outside there is decking and garden furniture.

We request a £50 deposit deducted from the total cost of your stay to reserve any dates as well as payment of a £75.00 damages bond. Rest assured, however, the bond will be returned to you, if not on the day of your departure, within the 48 hours following, providing all is well at the time of your checking out. We do hope that this will not deter you from booking with us.

Please note the lead guest must be aged 25 and over and we will accept one or two well-behaved dogs.

The only problem we expect you to have during your stay will be a lack of time to fit in everything!

Besides Trecco Bay there are two further sandy beaches within easy walking distance. The one is at Newton and has an expanse of unspoiled sandy beach, perfect for beach sports or an impromptu BBQ, and the other, Coney beach, is the commercial resort beach for Porthcawl with donkeys, fairground, cafes, etc.

Even if it rains or becomes cooler during your stay do not fear as there is even more to do undercover. There is an impressive pool complex suitable for serious swimmers as well as having a water slide, chutes, toddlers pool & pirate ship for the younger guests plus arts & crafts den, virtual reality zone and so much more.

Sporting areas are not limited to the inside though as there is a wet play area, adventure play area, sports court, bungee trampolines, outdoor climbing wall, high ropes etc & Crazy golf with the nearest 18 hole golf course only a short drive away.

The site has restaurants & takeaways so whether you are looking to have a pizza delivered to the caravan, fish & chips, a Sunday carvery or a sit-down meal the site can provide it. You can even get Costa Coffee and free access to Wi-Fi in certain areas.

You can buy pretty much anything on-site in the range of shops but, if you want to venture further afield in search of a bargain, there are a full range of supermarkets in nearby Bridgend and a “Bargain Booze”, a Coop and a Greggs just outside the site's main entrance.

If it is evening entertainment you are seeking then you will also not be spoilt for choice with an 800 seater Showdome, a sportsman’s bar, with plasma TVs covering sporting events, bingo etc.

Inside the caravan, you will find a 32" flat-screen TV with radio & DVD player (also plays CDs), DVDs, CDs, jigsaws, games, books, toaster, microwave, fridge/freezer & full-sized cooker as well as the usual crockery, cutlery, glassware etc. Even an electric fan is provided for those warmer days. The prices quoted include all of your gas and electricity.

All you need to bring with you is your towels as the beds will be made up ready for you (unless you advance that you prefer to bring your own bedding).

Excluding peak periods e.g. bank & school holidays and during months of June - September, we will be happy to offer short breaks (minimum 3 nights). Prices will be supplied on the application.

If you wish to venture off-site you will find much to see in the surrounding area. With good motorway access Swansea (20 miles) and Cardiff (30 miles) are easily accessible with shopping, museums, historical buildings as is the beautiful Gower Peninsula (30 miles), and then closer are the Macarthur Glen Designer Outlet, Barry Island (with its links to Gavin & Stacey!), Ogmore by Sea, Aberavon, Margam Park and the scenic valleys of the County of Glamorgan which are great for walking, photography, bird watching etc. In the caravan, you will find a range of tourist information brochures to give ideas.

Family With Older Children

Date of stay - 25 Mar 2022 - 28 Mar 2022

My daughter and grandchildren surprised me with a lovely weekend away for mothers day. The caravan was lovely and clean and had everything we needed, there was even some cake to enjoy with the complimentary tea and coffee. Although the park facilities were currently closed due to renovations, Carol was able to recommended a few local places to eat and drink and we ended up having a fantastic meal at The Globe Inn which was a local pub within walking distance of the park! It was a lovely weekend and we look forward to booking with her again!

We're so happy you enjoyed your stay and you're welcome back anytime! - Carol & Terry

Mature Couple

Date of stay - 11 Mar 2022 - 14 Mar 2022

Due to its perfect location on the site, we have stayed in this caravan several times before so when seeing it was under new ownership we did wonder whether to book again or not. We had no need for concern though as the caravan definitely equalled the previous high standard. It was as welcoming as ever, spotlessly clean & just as comfortable. In fact any changes which had been made were positive. We are pleased to say that we need to look no further and this caravan will remain our caravan of choice for future stays. In fact I am about to contact Carol now to make some bookings for later in the year, (if they will have us back of course!) as we know the previous owners used fill up quickly and are confident that Carol & Terry will do so too. Thank you again. Excellent.

Thank you so much for the lovely review we are so glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you back later in the year.I am so happy you decided to give us a go after staying with Margaret before .
