We have had an amazing time at Southerness, the weather wasn’t in our favour but we still manage to see and do plenty of the local attractions. This caravan is well worth every £. I cannot recommend it enough , a generous welcome pack, immaculately clean, fresh Smelling bedding and towels with hotel inspired shower gels being such a thoughtful touch. There is everything you need for your stay and more . Even the pans etc are a decent quality ! . Thank you it is a credit to you! The Parkdean site is very very clean and , tidy in all areas and the staff very friendly, it allows dogs has a dedicated dog walking area so no problem with dog mess for kids. Lots of wild rabbits on the site, lovely to watch . The on site shop is well stocked but not as you’d expect supermarket prices. . The usual swimming and play ground facilities and entertainment all very good. Its was nice having the little ‘village’ nearby and with it the option of eating and drinking elsewhere . It has ice creams, mini market and all bars are child friendly. Food at the Paul Jones and JJs chippy both excellent and not pricey. I did notice people using the Bus stop there. Nearby The Steamboat Inn serves delicious food too but it’s recommended you book. It’s in an enviable position on the Solway perfect for warm Sumer evenings I would not hesitate to return and recommend a stay at 5 O’clock somewhere Southernesss . Hopefully we will revisit in the near future.. April 2023
