We want you to have a lovely family break in our holiday home, Quarrel’s End, located on the Award winning Shorefield Country Park.
The lodge, new in 2021, combines a spacious, modern layout with great practical features and crucially all the space you need to create perfect holiday memories! The lodge is just a stroll from the beach, the fishing lake and all the facilities of this great family park.
Our luxury family lodge is entered through the utility room, this space is a real treat, keeps all the clutter of the family stowed away from the main living space, it features a sink, perfect for washing muddy paws or toes, the washer dryer and plenty of room to dry your shoes. There are also torches, shopping bags and umbrellas for your stay with us.
The kitchen is very well equipped, I love baking whilst at the lodge, so cake tins, bowls and wooden spoons alongside the usual oven trays are close at hand. The pantry is always stocked with tea bags, coffee and sugar…a supply of plain flour and a Jiffy lemon in the fridge means that pancakes after a day at the beach or the pool will be a welcome family treat! You’ll have plenty of space to store groceries either in the island cupboards or the in lovely pantry.
The kitchen island with stools is the perfect place to catch up with the days events or plan the next day’s adventures. The kitchen is stocked with a Dualit kettle & toaster, slow cooker, toastie maker, crockery, utensils and a dishwasher which all helps to make you feel at home. The four burner gas rings, separate small gas oven and grill and larger gas oven and microwave means that cooking is fuss free. There are tea towels provided for your stay, again at no extra cost.
The open plan lounge has a table to comfortably seat six, table mats, table cloths and serving dishes close at hand. The lounge seating area has a comfy loveseat armchair, a cosy single armchair and a double sofa.
Double patio doors lead out to the decking area, it is an extra large, wrap around space, which is completed with cosy rattan seating as well as a dining set. The veranda has a glass surround making it the perfect place to watch rabbits in the evening on the bank, whilst swinging on the wooden swing seat. The area is completed with solar powered feature lighting which creates a soothing atmosphere to enjoy the evening.
Master bedroom - king size bed, en-suite shower and toilet, hand towel and hand soap dispenser, walk in wardrobe, dressing table and stool, magnifying mirror, bedside tables, USB charger sockets, hairdryer, ample hanging and storage space.
Bedroom Two - kid’s room, two full width single beds, smart T.V, night-light, full sized wardrobe and drawers, USB charger socket, bedside table with drawers and dressing table and stool.
Bedroom Three - this room is set up as a single room currently, but easily fits in two singles… the day bed has a trundle single bed underneath and upon booking guests can request for the room to be set as two singles or a single bed and desk, perfect for work or study. Dressing table and stool, bedside table and lamp.
Family Bathroom with bath and over the bath shower, glass shower screen, towel and liquid hand soap dispenser.
A supply of towels for use in the lodge are included in the price of your holiday… please note you will need to bring towels for swimming or beach use.
