The caravan has a double bedroom with en-suite toilet and wash basin. A second bedroom contains two single beds (more suitable for children than adults). The seating area in the lounge also acts as a pull-out double bed. The bedrooms provide plenty of storage space with wardrobes and drawers.
There is a separate shower room with wash basin and toilet.
The kitchen area, which has a gas cooker, is fully kitted out with fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster.
Free Wi-Fi is included.
A colour TV with inbuilt DVD player is situated in the lounge. Also provided are a number of adults/children's DVD's, games and books, travel cot and high chair.
Bedding is supplied (except for the child's cot), but you will need to bring your own towels.
The caravan is situated on the Dawlish Sands site and is just a few minutes walk from the train station, beach, bus stop, supermarket, pubs, gift shops, and take-away's, plus amusements and fun fair with go-carts.
If you don't want to use your car while on holiday, catch a train for the short journey to either Exeter, Exmouth, Newton Abbott, Torquay, Paignton or Plymouth.
Enjoy your time on one of the safest beaches in South Devon, or take in the breath-taking scenery on the many local walks.
If fishing is your thing, there is a long stretch of sea wall to cast your line from. Steam trains go through the town most weekends throughout the summer, so a great place to be for the enthusiast. A 500 acre wildlife reserve runs along the edge of the beach to the Exe Estuary and is within easy walking distance, Here can be found a number of the more usual and not so usual birds and butterflies. Dawlish Countryside Park is within a few minutes walking distance and is the ideal place to walk your dogs.
Nearby placers of interest include: Powderham Castle, Dartmouth Steam Railway, Paignton Zoo, Crealy Adventure Park, Canonteign Falls and Shaldon Zoo.
Bookings are taken for 7 nights (Saturday to Saturday), 4 nights (Monday to Friday), and 3 nights (Friday to Monday). We also cater for 2 night stays during the winter season. Reduced fees for more than 2 nights from November to March. Arrival times are after 3.00pm on start dates and departures are by 10am on the leaving date.
