Lovely 6 berth static caravan for hire on Harlyn Sands Holiday Park at Harlyn Bay, just 3 miles from the seaside town of Padstow.

An easy 5 minute walk down through the site’s private access takes you to Harlyn Sands and breath taking coastal walks. Harlyn Sands is a safe family beach with RNLI Lifeguards present during the summer months. There is a Surf School who offer lessons on surfing, kayaking and paddle boarding for all ages.

The Seven Bays - Trevone Bay, Harlyn Bay, Mother Iveys Bay, Boobys Bay, Constantine Bay, Treyarnon Bay, and Porthcothan Bay are all within a 10 minute drive from the caravan site which are perfect for surfing or body boarding.

There is also Trevose Golf Club close by which has an 18 hole golf course with stunning views.

Harlyn Sands has great facilities for the family with indoor swimming pool, clubhouse, restaurant, shop, take-away fish and chip shop, launderette and lovely play area for the children. They also have a Kids Club with regular activities throughout the week.

Our lovely holiday caravan has 2 bedrooms, one double and one twin room which can convert to a double if required. There is also a double sofa bed in the lounge area. Sleeping up to six guests.

The lounge area has comfortable seating with a gas fire, freeview TV and DVD player. There is a dining table with a bench and 2 chairs in the dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. There is also a shower room with toilet.

Outside there is a large grass area with picnic table and parking for a car.

PLEASE NOTE: Towels not provided - please bring your own towels/beach towels and tea towels.

Family With Young Children

We hired this caravan quite last minute but the communication with owners was quick. Before our arrival we were informed that tiles had been removed from the main bedroom and some of the glue had remained on the walls and couldn’t be removed before our arrival. We accepted this and proceeded with our booking. The caravan is basic but good for a base. A lick of paint in the main living area wouldn’t go a miss. The shower head would not stay in a fix position, the shower tap was very temperamental plus the hose for shower underneath the caravan came apart causing water to leak outside! The blinds throughout are very flimsy and let light in first thing. During our stay the swimming pool was not open and to be honest this was the main selling point of hiring the caravan. The entertainment in the evenings is very loud and can be heard whilst in caravan. No hair dryer provided, no wi fi or hoover provided! On our return the owners have held £25 of the security bond as they stated we left the shower running and caused water damage in the bathroom. When asked to see evidence such as photos of water damage, they didn’t have any, yet have taken it upon themselves to with held £25. I would seriously think before booking in with these owners.

Thank you so much for your review. Firstly may we say we have no control over whether the swimming pool is open or not. As far as hearing the noise from the clubhouse, you are on a holiday camp so you will hear noise. Secondly, I personally used the shower 2 days before your arrival and it worked fine. We walked into the caravan to find the shower running and the shower door open with the bathroom flooding. We also found the toilet was left filthy. We do not state that a hairdryer, hoover or WiFi is supplied in our advert. There is certainly nothing wrong with the blinds. As far the leak under the caravan is concerned, that had been reported to the holiday camp the weekend before your visit as it is up to them to repair it.

It was our first time staying at the camp, and it was amazing. When we arrived at the caravan, it was a lovely suprise on how clean it was. Lovely fresh bedding, you could tell a lot of care and detail had gone into first impressions. The camp had everything we needed with a lovely beach to enjoy with the kids. And the children’s park being so close by was ideal. Everything that had been stated on the rental details were exactly what we got. Certainly will be renting from them again, especially as the process was so easy. We would all recommend these people to anyone. I have already told friends and family to go with them. Fingers crossed we can book for the summer
