Description

Our Caravan is a 28'x12' Abi-Vista, 2 bedroom, 6 birth, private static caravan, located on Xantus Grange on the popular Haven holiday park "Thornwick Bay" (Flamborough Head).

Our caravan houses everything you need for your staycation.
The caravan comprises of bathroom (shower, sink & toilet) 2 bedrooms - Master bedroom housing a king sized bed, ample wardrobe space, wall mounted programable heater with mirror above. Twin bedroom houses 2 caravan single beds which can be pushed together to make a small double bed, small wardrobe and walled mirror. Kitchen area houses fridge with small freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, a range of cooking equipment and utensils, dinnerware to accommodate 6 guests, Gas 4 ring hob and cooker, with separate grill, leading to an open plan living room / diner, with ample seating and breath taking views, Gas fire, TV, DVD Player, WIFI and a range of family games and DVDs
Outside a full length veranda with patio furniture and a storage bench, which holds a selection of outdoor toys such as buckets and spades, cricket set, football etc.

Xantus is situated on the cliff side of camp, with dog walking fields in front and to the left of plot, we are 5/10 minutes walk from main amenities, 10/15 minute walk from the new lake area, 15/20 walk to Thornwick bay, 25/35 minute walk to North Landing or Flamborough village

The Campsite comprises ; Show bar club house (entertainment passes needed - not provided) Lighthouse bar & Restaurant, Arcade including soft play area, swimming pool with slides and splash area, 2 Parks, the lake for various water sports and the activity barn home to climbing walls, archery, bikes, etc, Fish & Chip shop, Onsite well stocked shop (coop), self serve laundrette and site reception / security, There is also a nature reserve and fishing Lake (licence can be bought from reception) situated at the very entrance to the site

Bus services to further areas (Bridlington, Scarborough etc) run frequently, the bus stop been just near the security / barrier entrance to site

Online food shopping and plenty of takeaways attend site (some delivering straight to door others to security hut area)

Out door Obstacle courses that lead to off site nature walks - will you see the puffins or the seals ; Camp site access to Thornwick Bay : a Sandy and pebble beach, accessed via cliff trail or stairs
Nature Reserve and Fishing Lake (fishing licence can be obtained via reception)
On-site Fish and Chip Shop
Heated indoor swimming pool with splash bucket and water slides (passes required for access)

We stayed in this lovely well appointed caravan over the bank holiday weekend and it was the perfect base for exploring bridlington, scarborough and sewerby.. as well as flamborough head itself. The caravan is clean and well appointed with all the basics provided for you. the WIFI provided was enough to keep my children on youtube and roblox without any complaints of a lag so thats good. great view from the corner sofa area to the sea, and a less than 2 minute walk to the cliffs and less than 5 minute walk to the main complex. we parked on the shared parking area at the end of our row and found this perfect so we could relax and enjoy the side plot of grass. The owner communication is second to none and responded to any queries i had before my stay almost immediately. She even let us know the caravan would be ready an hour early so we could come even sooner. thanks Claire and Family!

Came with the grand children. Perfect for a family holiday with plenty to do round and about. A lovely caravan, clean and comfortable with enclosed secure veranda to keep kids and dog safe. Ideal location with sea view across open fields and far enough away from the main entertainment centre to not get disturbed. Included Wi-Fi which apparently is as essential to the kids as the air they breathe, so ipads smart phones etc worked perfectly! ????

My family and I stayed here for just over a week. We had a fantastic time, the caravan was perfect for the 5 of us and our dog. Claire and the boys were on hand for any help we needed. We will definitely be returning next year.

Stayed in this lovely caravan earlier in the year. Very clean and a great location. Close to the beach which my dog loved. Hopefully going to stay here again when the weather gets a bit warmer.
