Gas oven and hob, fan, electric fire effect heater WIFI is available at extra cost payable through Haven. There is also Bluetooth surround sound, a hairdryer, 2 toilets (1 en-suite) and 1 shower. There are 2 twin rooms and beds can be pushed together to make one double if required. As well as the main double. bedroom with en-suite toilet, there is also a double sofa bed in the lounge. Please note duvets and pillows provided but not bed linen or towels although theses can be hired onsite if necessary.

Description

The caravan is situated on Havens flagship site, Hafan y Mor on beautiful Snowdonia. If sitting with a cold drink on a balcony overlooking the sea is your thing, this is it! I also allow well behaved doggies unlike most of the other homes listed here.

The site itself is fantastic for children with loads to do including boat lake, cycle hire, zip wire, and the amazing aqua park.

It is a Bellamy conservation area with its own park ranger who arranges regular wildlife activities , and has 2 adjacent beaches. As it’s in a bay the water temperature is warm enough to swim in from May-September.

There is a lively entertainment programme with plenty to entertain adults and children alike. There are several restaurants, bars and takeaways including papa johns who deliver.
PLEASE NOTE - the listing DOES NOT include passes which need to be separately purchased from Haven. Prior to your arrival I will register you as my guests and you should then receive an email from Haven offering the opportunity to purchase play passes. However Haven frequently change their policy on playpass purchase and activity bookings, therefore it is best to check with them directly before you book my caravan.
If bringing an electrically charged vehicle, please do not charge it using the caravan supply. There are several charging points at car parks around the site.
Please keep dogs on a lead around the site ( a Haven rule) and ensure your furry friends are up to date with flea/tick treatments. Please keep them off the furniture as far as possible and provide them with a blank or to lie on.

Caravan very comfortable and the views over the bay to die for. However there were serious issues over the cleanliness of the caravan, particularly of the kitchen area, which we took up with the owner on our return home. Would also warn that anyone with mobility issues need to be aware that there are four steps at the entrance to the caravan which do not have a handrail making access difficult.

Hi Janet and thanks for your feedback. I did check with my regular cleaner and she confirms she thoroughly cleaned the caravan prior to your arrival. Any “serious” issues with cleanliness you had should have been mentioned during your stay and perhaps photos taken - I could have had the opportunity to deal with it then. If guests have serious health issues I arrange for an anti covid “ gas” device to be released before their arrival. I also recently had a wheelchair bound lady stay who also needed oxygen delivered to the caravan., which I coordinated with reception and her daughter. I also would have arranged a ramp for her but she had her own to access the steps. I accept your point about a handrail - many caravans do not have one but this is something I will look to arrange..

We had a 5 day 4 night stay at this caravan, absolutely perfect location with a view of the sea as the beach is not even 100 metres away. Caravan well presented and all mod cons available. Was also perfect with our French Bulldog. Only one down fall was the heat on the warmer days but that is expected in static caravans. Very highly recommended. Owners response to questions and queries were answered very quickly even though they were abroad themselves.

I think if hotter summers becoming more common I will need to consider some sort of air con And thankyou for your patience and understanding regarding the registration hiccups which I subsequently discovered was due to the one hour time difference !
