Caravan Hire T&C’s
This property is privately owned and is our holiday home. We expect all guests to enjoy the facilities and treat the property with the same respect that they would with their own house.
These T&Cs have been produced to protect both the owner and all guests as well providing advice in the event of problems or disputes.
Payments & Deposits
A provisional booking will be accepted by the caravan owners subject to receiving a £50 deposit, the deposit should be paid by bank transfer.
Upon receiving the deposit you’ll receive confirmation for the dates you have booked.
Please note that all bookings are provisional until the deposit is received.
The payment for your stay is due 4 weeks prior to your arrival, if payment is not received in this time frame the caravan owners reserve the right to hire the caravan to someone else.
Bookings taken with less than 4 weeks remaining will be required to pay in full.
The £50 deposit will also act as a refundable security bond. The bond is fully refundable at the end of your hire period and will be returned by bank transfer.
The caravan owners reserve the right to withhold some of or the entire bond and/or bill the hirer for any additional costs relating to breakages and damage to the caravan.
Damages and breakages
Please treat the facilities & accommodation with due care so that other guests may continue to enjoy them. If you notice something is missing or damaged in your accommodation, please let us know immediately so that we can take the appropriate action. If there has been any damage or breakages during your stay, we would be grateful if you could report them promptly, ideally before check-out. The accommodation will be inspected at the end of the holiday & you may be charged for any loss or damage.
The owner reserves the right to make a charge to cover additional cleaning costs if the client leaves the property in an unacceptable condition.
All inventory must remain in the property and not be taken to another property.
We reserve the right to terminate a holiday without compensation where the unreasonable behaviour of the persons named on the booking (or their guests) may impair the enjoyment, comfort or health of others.
Arrival & Departure
Please do not arrive before the time stated on your booking confirmation.
Keys will be available as advised by the accommodation owner before your arrival, you will be liable for the costs of replacing the locks and all key sets if the keys are lost
Smoking is NOT permitted inside the caravan, but ash trays are provided for outdoor use only. Smoking anywhere inside the premises will result in immediate termination of occupancy and forfeiture of all payments. This must be strictly adhered to and any damage or extra cleaning caused by smoking will be at the expense of the hirer.
The caravan is to be left in a clean and tidy condition ready for the next tenants, due to inspection by staff. Please leave the caravan as you found it and take all rubbish to the nearest bin stalls.
Please ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean and back in place, that all kitchen surfaces and accommodation tables have been wiped clean, bins have been emptied as instructed, the floors have been left clear of mess.
The caravan must be vacated by the time specified on your booking confirmation on the last day of hiring ready for the cleaner to check over.
General Terms & Conditions
• If you are asked to vacate the caravan/holiday park by the holiday park owners or their staff for any reason, the caravan owners shall not refund any money paid.
• No compensation will be given for any temporary outage of electricity, gas, water, internet connection or television service
• The owners are not responsible for the loss of any personal belongings or valuables of the guest.
• Your booking will only be cancelled by the owner except in exceptional circumstances beyond our control. Notification will be given of the cancellation as soon as possible and we will promptly refund all payments made for your holiday. Our liability for cancellation will be limited to payments made to us.
• We or our representatives reserve the right to enter the property at any time to undertake essential maintenance or for inspection purposes.
• The hirers may in no circumstance re-let or sublet the property, even free of charge.
• The owner accepts no liability in the event of loss, injury or accident encountered by the hirers and their guests. We strongly recommend you take our holiday insurance to cover accidents, losses and cancellations etc.
• Naked flame products, such as Candles and Barbecues, must not be used in the accommodation
• USE OF GAS & ELECTRICITY – These are provided free for fair use only. In the event of excessive use of either Gas and/or Electricity you will face additional charges.
Cancellation Policy
In the event of a cancellation the hirer must confirm this in writing (Deposits are not refundable in the event of a cancellation)
Once the balance has been paid refunds will be considered in certain circumstances at the owner’s discretion subject to the time remaining to the holiday and a replacement booking being obtained.
No refund will be made once to the hirer once the hire has commenced and who vacates the caravan for any reason including an emergency at home.
