Description

Port Haverigg Holiday Village offers it all. There is a lake which is part of a wildlife sanctuary but also offering a variety of Watersports. Entertainment is available at "The Ski Bar" which is family and pet friendly. There is a child's play park which the caravan sits adjacent allowing drinks on the decking whilst watching the children play. The site offers easy access to tranquil beaches, sand dunes and walks to Black Coombe. Easy access by car to the west and central lakes to discover local treasures. The local towns offer ample shops including supermarkets bakeries butchers as well as gift shops. There are excellent venues for dining within the vicinity and "take outs" offering delivery for those nights in.

The "van" offers excellent accommodation; recently renovated with a modern large fitted sofa modern fitted kitchen with full-sized fridge freezer, full-sized gas cooker, microwave and toaster. The master bedroom has a double bed, ensuite WC and ample storage. The second bedroom has two single beds and storage. There is a separate shower room, decked area, private garden area and parking for 2 cars.

There is WiFi to the property, Netflix and "normal" television available as well as a DVD player.

Up to 2 well-behaved dogs allowed for an additional fee and extra surcharge for electric vehicle charging.

Wow! Where do I begin? Great contact with the owners, very helpful and always replied. A lovely caravan with plenty of room, a proper home from home with attention to detail from the ornaments to the bed linen. Lovely soft pillows and bedding. A lovely little garden at the back of the van where the dog enjoyed having a sniff and made friends with the dog at the back! The park just across the road where my youngest spent many a happy hour. Would definitely book again.

This caravan is absolutely beautiful it was spotlessly clean had everything you need plus more, perfect location if you have young kids as its straight facing the park plus its got its own garden area, its a beautiful caravan in a beautiful location will definitely be booking again.

Lovely, clean caravan on nice quiet plot. Owners very responsive with communication, very informative welcome pack info. Decking area and furniture very comfortable, and nice to have a lawned area, and easy parking next to van very convenient, will definitely be returning. Well maintained park, ski bar on site great for food and reasonable prices.

5 stars all around! The owners (Alan & Amanda) were quick to respond to my initial enquiry and all following emails and their lovely caravan was a great place to spend 4 nights with the family while we explored the South Lakes area. The caravan itself was very clean with modern decor and facilities. If you're considering eating in sometimes, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you could possibly need - crockery, cutlery, mugs & glasses, pans and utensils, baking trays etc. The oven/hob and appliances all looked brand new too and were of high quality. The beds were comfy enough with fresh bed linen, towels etc and even a couple of loo rolls/kitchen roll in case they are needed on arrival. Nice to have 2x toilets and the shower wasn't too small either. There's a TV with Blu-Ray (and quite a few DVDs to watch) along with free Wi-Fi. The caravan has decking and chairs outside and is situated directly opposite a little park with swings etc which my youngest son absolutely loved! There was ample parking space for a large family car too. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends and anyone reading this review, in summary - a pleasant caravan in a nice holiday park run by a lovely couple who clearly care about their customer's experience.

Lovely Caravan in a nice spot with Veranda and Garden.The kitchen has all the utensils you need and the Caravan is very clean throughout.The owners Amanda and Alan are very helpful.We would definitely recommend.
