About the owner

We were so lucky to buy our beautiful caravan in July 2020, just after the first lockdown. We had never considered having a static caravan before but this has become our little retreat, it kept us sane during such a difficult time. This year though both our businesses are so busy and we haven't been able to use our caravan very much, we've considered selling it but it has a huge place in both our hearts so we really can't let it go, so our other option was to share it with others by hiring it out. The site we are on is wonderful, it has everything you need for a fabulous holiday and our pitch is extra special too, its very big and has its own secluded patio area. We love our 'Woodland Retreat' and hope you enjoy it as much as we always do.

The caravan has double glazing & central heating. The main bedroom has an en-suite and the lounge area has a double sofa bed too.

Its on a beautiful pitch, very spacious with lots of outdoor space!

Wild Duck is a lovely site with a swimming pool, entertainment area, restaurant, fish & chip shop, Papa Johns new this year and lots of activities to do!

Just 7 mins from the gorgeous Gorleston beach.

We decided to book a last minute break away and we were so pleased we did. Everything from the caravan to the friendly and helpful owner was amazing. I was pleasantly surprised at the location of the caravan as it was so lovely and quiet. There was a pretty little garden outside for my youngest to play. We felt very safe and looked after by the parks staff. Caravan was immaculate, beds very comfy and even had the little touches like tea and coffee. The shop and entertainment on the park can be a bit pricey but you are not far from a little Tesco and a Morrisons up the road. It took us around 20 minutes drive to Pleasure beach/Great Yarmouth sea front. I have been coming to Norfolk for years and must say that Wild duck is my favourite and will definitely be staying at this caravan again. Thank you again to Emma for making sure we had a great stay.

The caravan was amazing so clean and well kept it felt like a very loved home lovely quiet area of the camp so you could have a nice chill outside and watch the world go by Everything was prefect the camp is a lovely relaxed camp I would definetly recommended staying here

Lovely Caravan in a nice wooded area of the park, very quiet this caravan is on a large corner plot, so not overlooked. Caravan was very clean and comfortable , the beds comfortable and bedding fresh. I loved the ensuite toilet in the double bedroom. Emma was a lovely host, friendly and helpful, I can thoroughly recommend.

We had a great stay in this lovely caravan.It had everything we needed and was situated in a great spot. We found it pleasantly quiet despite being a busy holiday time. Emma communicated so well and made our booking easy and painless.! We much appreciated our welcome card and goodies. The park suited our family well and the children really enjoyed it. The caravan was clean comfortable and had ample parking outside on its spacious plot.We were very pleased to have found this family friendly park.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back again.
