The maximum number of people using the accommodation at any time must not exceed 8 people and only those listed on the booking form.
If you intend to have guests overnight these must be included on the booking form, even though they will not be there for the duration. (We will not charge extra for these guests, but you must not exceed 8 people in the accommodation, and we must be given their details)
Under no circumstances should you “sub-let” the holiday if you are unable to make it to avoid cancellation fees. If you are found to be subletting, both parties will be charged in full for the holiday.
Pets
We allow a maximum of 2 dogs at one time
We ask you try to minimise the amount of time your dogs are left alone in the caravan to avoid distress and or damage.
Please do not allow pets on the furniture – particularly the sofas and beds
Guests are responsible for the cleaning up after their pets and we ask that you respect the park and clean up after them for the duration and not just around our caravan.
Damages/ Security Bond
We know accidents happen, we ask if anything is broken or damaged to let us know so it can be replaced or repaired after your stay. Your ‘Damage security bond’ is to protect us from malicious, mischievous, or undue care damage and is standard practise with caravan hire.
Any damages or missing items not reported will be treated as malicious and will result in loss of some or all of your security bond.
Any major damages to furniture, fittings or inventory must be paid for by the hirer. If the repairs cost more than the security deposit an invoice will be raised to the hirer and must be paid within 7 days.
Our caravan is non-smoking; we also ask that you don’t smoke on the decking. If found to have been smoking in the caravan or on the decking you could lose some or all of your security bond to cover cost of a deep clean
If found to have been using illegal substances in the caravan or on the decking you will lose all of your security deposit and be put on the banned list
Strictly no fires or barbeques, either on the decking or around the caravan. If found to have had a fire or barbeque on the decking or anywhere near the caravan you will lose all of your security deposit.
Candles are not permitted in the caravan or on the decking, if found to have been using candles you may lose some or all of your security deposit.
The charging of electric vehicles is not permitted, the caravan has not had the correct safety checks to allow this, anybody found to be charging their vehicle using caravan electric will be asked to leave without compensation and you will lose your security deposit.
Please lock the doors and close the windows when you leave the caravan unoccupied. We would prefer if you left the keys in the key safe every time you leave the caravan, making sure not to leave the code on display. Lost keys will be charged at £50 per set (the cost of replacing the locks).
Please be sure to turn off lights, heating, oven and any other appliances (e.g. iron/ hairdryer etc.) when you go out
All inventory must remain in the property (a list is printed on the inside of the boiler room door) and must not be taken to another caravan.
Your Stay
Arrival Time is after 2pm unless agreed otherwise – the keys will be in the key safe, you will be given the code nearer to your holiday and after the balance is paid in full. Please do not enter the caravan before the agreed time; this is to ensure it has been cleaned properly. If you do arrive on park before the allocated time, please contact us by phone or text and we may be able to allow earlier access if cleaning is complete.
Please park in the designated space next the caravan; parking is limited to 2 cars. Please make sure you do not block access to other caravans.
Please respect our neighbours and try to keep noise levels to a minimum between the hours of 11pm and 8am
If, in the opinion of us or the park manager, any party is guilty of conduct of prejudicial to the wellbeing of others we or the park manager may re-take possession of the caravan and terminate the holiday without compensation.
Check Out
Departure time is no later than 10am – please leave the keys in the key safe (ensuring the code is not left visible). Please make sure you leave on time so that we can clean in time for the next guests.
The caravan must be left clean and tidy, as you would have found it.
If we have supplied bedding - On the last day, please strip the beds (leaving the mattress protectors on) and leave bedding in the correct bedrooms.
Ensure all heaters are turned off
Please make sure the fridge and bin are empty and please wash up any kitchen items that have been used.
Liability
We DO NOT accept liability for injury, loss or damage suffered by you or a member of your party.
We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive holiday insurance to cover injury, loss, damage, or cancellations. If you chose not to then you take full responsibility for any injury or loss incurred.
We are not liable for any temporary defect or malfunction of equipment; we endeavour to resolve any issue with the caravan as soon as we can
No compensation will be given for any temporary outage of electricity, gas, water, internet connection or television service; again, we endeavour to resolve any issues as soon as we can.
We are not responsible for the loss of any personal belongings or valuables of guests.
You park your vehicles outside the caravan/ on the park at your own risk, we are not responsible for any damage, theft or loss.
We are not liable for you not being able to purchase park passes or access any activities, this holiday does not include park passes and is not through Haven.
Any problem or complaint concerning the holiday must be immediately reported directly to us and we will endeavour to put matters right. Any complaints not reported to us at the time and only reported after you have returned from holiday will not be considered.
