We are a family of 5 who have been going to the lakes for years enjoying all that it has to offer in the great outdoors- lots of happy family memories. We bought our caravan on this site that we love and hope many others will share our love of it too. We just want you to relax, enjoy and make memories. We have a super duper cleaner who will ensure each time our guests arrive you get the best version of the van but any problems at all please get in touch with us we are here to help x

Description

This caravan is our home from home. It has full wrap around decking front and side, patio doors and cosy lounge with a well equipped kitchen and unlimited reliable wifi.. Central heating and double glazed it’s perfect come rain or shine.

We are happy to cater for young children and can provide high chair travel cot and mattress protector if required.

3 bedrooms- one double with dresser, wardrobe, TV and ensuite toilet and 2 twin rooms. All bedding is freshly laundered and made up before each visit as part of the hire fee. You will also benefit from a parking space near to the door of the caravan.

Grasmere close is off the main driveway just 5 min walk to shops; chippy, grocers, arcade, pool, entertainment and papa johns and a 5 min walk in the other direction to the otters lake with all its water activities to offer. Burger King coming to site spring 2023!

Play/ entertainment passes are not included but can be purchased via haven and We can send the link in advance to book your activities. The site is a couple of miles drive away from the iconic cartmel and Grange over sands. It is walking distance to skydive northwest and Flookburgh car boot on Sundays. The village of Flookburgh has post offices, take away, deli, pub, pharmacy etc. Cark also close by.

There is a large well maintained local park on the run up to the site. Whilst on the site you may see people launching from aircrafts with parachutes as it’s right next door to skydive northwest. You can walk along the beach wall or ride around the park on a cart. There is also fishing locally for a small fee pp and we love a short drive to Fellfoot to get in lake Windermere and explore kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing etc.

Just got back from a fantastic stay at Helen’s caravan and the whole family can’t wait to go back. Caravan was exceptionally clean and tidy with everything you would need. WiFi, smart tv and games cupboard for the kids, a very well equipped kitchen for cooking in and the en-suite in the double bedroom is an added bonus. Such a comfortable and modern caravan. The decking outside is great and although too cold to sit out in early March would be lovely to go back in the summer and sit out on there on the lively rattan furniture. Great communication from owner Helen too. Overall, a fantastic caravan, will defo be going back in the future. Xxx

Lovely Caravan in a lovely quiet location on park. Communication from start to finish with Helen was great and nothing was to much trouble regarding our stay there. Inside the caravan it was very spacious and clean and everything you needed from a home to home stay. The WiFi and games supplied was also a extra bonus for us. We would highly recommend and will definitely be in touch again to book. Thanks

Absolutely beautiful caravan, beautifully presented and very clean. First time here and we won't hesitate to come back. Alot of thought has been given to everything within the caravan and the added bonus of games and wifi for them rainy days. An excellent bonus of having an en-suite as having three children (aged between 2-14), somebody always needs the bathroom at the same time. It is in a quiet close but close to all the haven facilities, but far enough away when you just want peace. Helen (the owner) was always available and replied to any queries quickly. It is the best caravan we've stayed in and will be looking to book again for next year! 10/10 from us!

We had a fabulous break away. Caravan was lovely and clean. Very spacious and had everything we needed with a great location. Great communication with Helen the owner, we will definately book again. Lovely October family break.

Such a beautiful caravan with lovely extra touches inside. Excellent communication with owner. Lots to entertain inside the caravan aswell my children enjoyed the games cupboard. Will definitely be back to this one. Perfect quiet close.

Beautiful caravan. Every room immaculate. Surprisingly large main bedroom with en-suite and large social family living room/dining area. Games cupboard and smart tv with apps was great for the kids. The haven site itself was a lot quieter and better kept than haggerston or similar. Overall a great holiday and cracking base location to visit some beautiful Lake District towns. Wouldn’t hesitate to return. The host communicated well throughout and everything was easy and seem less.
