About the owner

I am a wife and a mum to two girls. We live in North Yorkshire and love the countryside and the seaside. Together with my friend Philippa , also a wife and mother to two children, we made the decision to invest in our caravan at Reighton Sands, so we could have somewhere to take our children on holidays’ and also as a small business venture together. We have let our caravan throughout 2022 & have really loved providing value holidays and we have received some great feedback. We both love animals & I have 3 of my own dogs, so inviting dogs to stay is very important to us & they have all loved the long stretch of beach available from the caravan. Description

Modern, dog friendly Caravan offering 3 bedroom accommodation & additional sofa bed to sleep 8 people in total.

Main bathroom includes a shower, wash basin & toilet & there is a further small toilet room with basin.

The caravan has decking up to the door with a gate so you can keep pets & small children safe when coming & going during your stay.

We really want to make your holiday as stress free as possible so we've tried to provide all the little things like games, colouring books and crayons and tea, coffee, sugar and kitchen condiments. We also provide all bedding & make up your beds before you arrive.

You will be able to enjoy all of the following on your holiday;

The site has lots of facilities, some are accessible for everyone including outdoor play areas, restaurant, bar & fish & chip stall and the tractor train which runs to and from the beach all day. Other activities can be accessed with a Play Pass which can be purchased from Haven separately, these include; indoor & outdoor swimming pool with lazy river, arcades, & show-bar for family friendly entertainment.

Filey is the nearest town & can be reached on foot along the beach at low tide or using the regular bus service which runs from the site to Filey as well as Bridlington & Scarborough.

Owner's booking terms

To secure any booking we require a deposit to be paid in advance, this deposit amount is equivalent to one night’s stay. Deposit payments must be 'cleared funds' before a booking can be confirmed.

Guests must check-in and check-out by the times stated below;
Check-in after 15:00 on arrival day.
Check-out by: 10: 00am on day of departure.

Cancellation, returned deposit & non-arrival conditions:
Guest who need to cancel a booking should contact us as soon as possible. Deposits already paid are only returned in accordance with the following conditions:
Cancellation made 15 days or more in advance of arrival date = full deposit refund.
Cancellation made 14 days or less of arrival date = 50% of deposit refund.
Cancellation made 48hrs or less of arrival date = No refund issued, full amount of booking due.

In the rare event we need to cancel your booking with us, please be aware that we cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control and that our liability to you is limited to the refund of any payment already made.

Damages & lost property:
We reserve the right to charge the lead guest for any damages caused through the course of a booking by any member of the booking party. This includes breakages, spillages, stains, damage to furniture or fixtures and fittings. Any accidental damages should be reported as soon as possible in order to minimise damage and associated costs. Lost keys will incur a small replacement charge of £5.00

Smoking:
Guests are asked not to smoke in the caravan & to avoid dropping any burning item on the decking as this is very easily damaged with heat. Please do not use BBQ’s on the decking.

Dogs:
Dogs are very welcome at our caravan, we just ask that you use the fleeces provided to safeguard carpets, furniture & beds from wet & Sandy paws.

Pens:
Please do not use any felt tip pens or nail varnish in the caravan. We provide a selection of pencil crayons.

Our right to cancellation:
We reserve the right to cancel any booking without compensation, refund or reimbursement if the terms of these conditions are breached. ...Show less
