Located in the 'Beachlands' area, our lovely 38ft x 12ft two bedroom caravan is sited in a premium location at the beautiful Thorness Bay Holiday Park under Parkdean Resorts, near Cowes, Isle of Wight. The van has two bedrooms, with a small double sofa bed in the lounge sleeping 6 people altogether.
We have private parking for two vehicles in front of the caravan.
The space:
The caravan has two bedrooms (master bedroom has a double bed, dressing table and en-suite), second bedroom has two small single beds with a small double sofa bed in the lounge. There are two wardrobes in the main bedroom and one in the twin bedroom all with hangers for your use. A hairdryer with USB charging point is in the main bedroom too.
The main bathroom has a decent sized walk in shower, handbasin, toilet, bath & a heated towel rail.
Please note, no smoking or vaping is allowed in or near our caravan.
A first aid kit is located in the kitchen. Please report all accidents to reception and replace items that you use from this kit. Thank you.
Important notice: by order of the management of Parkdean Resorts, electric and hybrid vehicles cannot be charged anywhere on our site.
Our kitchen has a new full sized fully integrated fridge freezer, four burner gas hob, grill & oven, toaster, microwave, kettle, fire blanket & fire extinguisher, and is fully equipped with everything you need. The dining area has padded seating for four at our dining table.
Our lounge area has a sofa which pulls out into a small double bed and armchair, coffee table, Freeview TV with a dvd/Blu-ray player. There are some dvds for you to use. We also have a jukebox style radio/CD/bluetooth player.
Patio doors open onto decking which is a further 8ft long x 12 ft wide with views of the sea, meadow & countryside which can be enjoyed sitting on our new rattan garden furniture. Meals can be had outside too. Please note, no BBQs, fires, smoking or vaping anywhere on or near our decking.
Directly opposite our van is a path that leads onto the meadow area and also down to the private beach. Although a pebble beach, at low tide it is great for collecting shells, crabbing and trying to spot old fossils! The main gate area to drive down to the beach is now permanently closed which has improved the beach area hugely and stops those not staying on the site driving down to the beach.
The woodland and meadow opposite our van are a dedicated Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), we regularly see red squirrels, hares, pheasants and the occasional badger. On the beach there are a wide variety of sea birds and wading birds such as Terns and Little Egrets. There are some wildlife books in the van to help you identify the animals that you might see.
Behind the van is a large grassy area perfect for children to play and run around safely away from the roads.
We are within walking distance of the entertainment complex, swimming pool, fish & chip shop & laundrette. Please note the entertainment complex, swimming pool, bars, restaurant, shop & take-away are closed from 30th October 2022 until Friday 24th March 2023. The laundrette remains open.
